Definitely a trend in CT and, to make matters worse, there's no huge job market here in comparison to NY, NJ, and MA. A lot of retirees and young adults/Millennials in particular are fleeing CT from what I've seen.

Taxation up here is no joke and even urban cities out here have crazy rent.

If all these people moving to red states are liberals as claimed by the DNC lackeys, then I wouldn't be surprised to see NY NJ CT go red. Even liberals can have too much crappy governance and abuse by their Democrat leaders. And there may not be enough of them to continue to re-elect the same failed Democrats if they move to other states.

No, you're not.

No actual conservative would ever vote for Trump.

Trump isn't conservative.

NJ is a special place. It's residents are proud to be incapable of pumping their own gas. The women still smell like Malibu and Hawaiian Tropic, and every town has at least 3 nail salons to choose from. In NJ, you can make 100k a year babysitting small copies of dysfunctional people. The bagels and pizza are #1 though, and naturally, Italian restaurants owned by Croatians are quite popular too.

A state where until recently, sparklers were illegal
A state where marijuana is legal in name only
A state where teenage girls are identified specifically via license plate sticker (so creepy men can follow them home)
A state where it's overwhelmingly democrat full time legislature constantly churns out more red tape, feel good legislation, tax funded programs, and regulations session after session yet we have to hear that 2 previous republican governors are the reason for the high taxes.

Stop pretending that cost of living and crappy weather are not factors.

Wrong as usual. Actual conservatives vote against every Democrat at every opportunity.

CT has plenty of old money. ,, and many of the extended family stay on because of that.

Amazon is building a warehouse north of Hartford that will employ 1000 workers.

The thing about CT is that like other places ,it can sometimes be easier to make money where people have money. That being said, if you find your niche, quality of life is high.

Dems have done damage ,, but not quite enough to sink the ship.
