Think it about it’s going to cause uneasiness in the locker room especially when players are a taking a shower. Not a smart move on his part.

1. Players are naked for much more time than in the shower. No one carries their clothing to and from the shower. I had many college teammates who didn't bother to use a towel to cover while walking to their locker to get dressed all the time.

2. I bet no one cares on the team, media and general public care way more than that locker room.

I'm a private person so I'll announce this to the world. Ok.

Why do they need to tell everyone? If it's not a big deal then don't make it one.

Yup, overblown. Statistics say that regardless of who might be openly gay, a reasonable percentage of any team mates are actually gay, therefore any adult male in any locker room just accepts the fact that yes, there are probably some guys who are looking at you, "that way".

Yep. There were always teammates that were suspected of being gay but no one cared enough to find out. If your winning then who gives a crap.

Because NFL culture is still very intolerant thus no openly gay players until now. So clearly the culture needs to improve when it comes to tolerance.

You have social media right? People love to advertise their business.

We've taken that to a new level.

You need to be gay or trans now to be "special".
