So the teammates didn't want to have to deal with the gay side of themselves, even if they were only 5% gay. Back during high school, surely some of them brutally teased the good looking guys who aroused the gay side of them. When you're as little as 5% gay, you may want to get back at the cute guys who turn you on.

The current crop of football players and their generation by and large don't care about the sexuality of their teammates. Chances are most if not all already knew his orientation. And it's highly likely he's the first of many more to come out. Props for him doing so and donating to the Trevor Project as well.

I never saw much good sense in coming out gay publicly, unless you were in a close relationship with the same sex and may even be thinking about marriage. Some open gays can't tolerate remaining being in a relationship when the significant other is afraid to be openly gay. So wouldn't be surprised that NFL player has found someone special.

Never ceases to amaze me how narcissists assume other people want to know where they put their penises and vaginas

Apparently the OP finds it interesting enough to start a thread about it.

How about no one speculates on Derek Carr's views and stop criticizing his views before you know them.

Yep Bound to happen just by pure percentages. Don't care. If he makes a good hit, an interception, he's doing what he needs to do and I will be entertained

These kinds of stories get sports stations talking about politics, which is kind of pointless because the politics stations rarely talk about sports. I don't care who he wants to ****, nor do I care about Derek Carr's views on it. What's next, is Jon Gruden going to come out as an ass man and say he'll no longer coach any players who prefer breasts?
