Assuming I was home and available to get to the door when they came, I would thank them for their outreach efforts but reassure them that my loved ones and I have all been fully vaccinated.
I would want them to know that I think they're doing God's work and a wonderful thing as public servants. I would hope that would make their day a little brighter, particularly if they're having to deal with a much less than enlightened, and perhaps less gracious, segment of the public.
If the Delta variant is as contagious and dangerous as they are saying, then getting up close and personal with thousands of presumably unvaccinated people sounds like a great way to spread it around even more.
Existing vaccines are as effective against the D variant as they are against the original.
If you're vaccinated, then you can't get either one from others, and they can't get either one from you.
Where do you get the idea you or they will "spread it around"?
What do you think they're going to do? Hold you down and give you a shot? LOL. I just can't even with the mindsets around here sometimes.
Who woulda thunk the govt would have closed schools and certain businesses, or banned travel, weddings, funerals and church services?
Thanks to events of 2020 your ilk doesnt get to arrogantly play the "I'm the only sane voice in the room" card any longer. In fact you've been so fully discredited, that sitting silently in the corner with a pointy hat on is probably the best place for you.
