The same way we ended The Spanish Flu. And a vaccine had nothing to do with it.

The current vaccines will help your body fight off an infection. You still get infected - the vaccination may prevent further infection at the point that it spreads beyond the first few cells. If your body responds quickly enough, you will have less viral replication in your body. With lowers levels of viral particles, you are less likely to transmit the virus because you are expelling lower concentrations of viral particles in your breath. You are also less likely to test positive for an infection because you do not meet the threshold for the tests.

But the current vaccines turn the infection from a potentially deadly disease to a mild illness. The current vaccines greatly reduce viral load which greatly reduces the spread of the disease to people who cannot be vaccinated. Over time, if everyone was vaccinated, that would to a large extent eliminate the virus.

That was a different time with a far less developed medical science. Why don't you use smallpox or polio as a better example?

It's still "kind of" around today...

“You can still find the genetic traces of the 1918 virus in the seasonal flus that circulate today,” says Taubenberger. “Every single human infection with influenza A in the past 102 years is derived from that one introduction of the 1918 flu.”

“We’re here to tell government, we don’t want your benefits, we don’t want your welfare, don’t come knocking on my door with your Fauci ouchie,” Boebert said, referring to Biden’s top medical adviser, Anthony S. "On television and online, conservative media outlets are amplifying fears about the vaccine."

Their anti-vaccine campaign will result in some deaths and they will have blood on their hands because of it.
Perhaps the hostility is due to the authoritarians parroting the narrative that those that chose not to vaccinate (perhaps because the vaccines has injured/killed their parents) should not work, have access to children, should die out so that those who chose to vaccinate life happily ever after and visit France.

Hypocrite as always.

The US COVID infected mortality rate is less than 2%.

What is the paralytic infection rate of Polio? The mortality rates of those infected with Polio and Smallpox?

Yup. To date, vaccines have never played a significant role in ending a pandemic.

We are NOT AGAINST ALL VACCINES, only unproven new technology that is being coerced on a public who are lied to about it's safety and efficacy.

Got it? Good.
The government strongly encourages vaccination. Is that what you consider coercion?

Please clarify what lies you think are told about the safety and efficacy.

Actually, someone invested a LOT of money to dig out the original influenza virus in 2007. From Alaska graveyard in permafrost. It's open public knowledge, just hush hush about. Google it. Virus then was sequenced and synthesized. It is one of them viruses that gives cytokine storm. Sounds familiar? Well, it should, as SARS2 like virus was then synthesized in 2014 and developed so that it can be infected to humans. This is also public knowledge, Google it. Connecting dots?
