Its all weirdly vague and just seems off.
Oh goodness, I didn't see that. That's ridiculous. The exact cause of GBS is unknown, but it's been observed to often follow a infection. But not after several years! That's contrary to everything that's known about GBS. No wonder they didn't take her seriously. I cannot even believe this is a news story knowing this.

I didn't realize she was trying to get an exemption based on getting GBS years after a vaccine. What utter BS.

Well, now we know she is simply another whiny anti-vaxxer trying to strong arm her way around the school's vaccine policy. I'm glad the school didn't fall for it.

It says she got gbs from a vaccine in 2019. I read this from other sources and she got paralyzed shortly after a vaccine. I'm going to check it out but the people who got paralyzed shortly after we're a couple of the covid vaccines.

But the story sounds fishy to me. There are some rare instances of Guillan Barre Syndrome (GBS) associated with the J&J vaccine only, and none with any of the others. This is easily determined with a Google search. And the only other vaccines that have been linked to GBS are flu vaccines. So it's also funny that the story doesn't mention what vaccine supposedly caused her GBS.

My wife had GBS the past and she got the Pfizer vaccine. No problem. GBS is rare and like getting struck by lightning. And once you've had it, you're not any more prone to getting it again as you would be getting stuck by lightning a second time (but that happens as well.)

Maybe that's why she didn't get a health exemption, because it's simply not medically indicated.
This women got paralyzed by Pfizer vaccine .Pfizer can do it too. https://www.bitchute.com/video/QTtaT6JvaSbY/.

Looks like Pfizer CAN paralyze you......

This looks a lot like an anti-Mormon/anti-BYU smear and here's why. Right out of the gate, we start with a blatant lie.

DENIED admission to BYU-Hawaii and loses $200k scholarship for refusing to get COVID vaccine after doctors said it could worsen her condition
To go to the main BYU campus in Provo, UT the tuition costs: $3,060 for a Church member and $6,120 for a non-member. Total tuition for 8 semesters even for a non-member = $8,960. (BYU Hawaii is $2,945 $5,890 respectively.) Now you've got to get the rest of the way to $200K on everything else.

Not surprising.

Except, BYU is a Mormon College and as about as conservative as you could ever hope to get.
But nice try.

All of this is about health and medicine, it is not about Politics, no matter how much you wish it was.

Bad timing because she was informed late but many universities are requiring the vaccine for the fall. The BYU campus is unique with much interaction with the Polynesian community and other international travel, a poor choice for someone unvaccinated.

She said out of state tuition is very expensive. Are there fees we are not seeing.
