So why is he circumventing school boards elected by the parents. Seems to me that he should be more active in protecting his constituents rather than blocking them with 20,000 infections a day.

61% have received the vaccination.

He is, just not the way YOU want. Are you a registered voter in Florida? He has support from the majority of Floridians.

Protecting businesses, individual rights, keeping schools fully open while maintaining online or classroom 'choice' while insuring the MOST VUNERABLE are protected, is the protection many of us are pleased with.

The numbers you stated are who received one dose, not who are fully vaccinated. You are not considered fully vaccinated until two weeks after the second dose. Half the new daily covid cases in the nation are in Florida. Florida hospitals are reaching or surpassing capacity right now. Allowing that is the opposite of protecting his citizens.

and those who have anti bodies too.

There is a surge... no denying that, among the healthiest Floridians. Gov DeSantis had 50+ vaccine events. The most at risk are well protected... and death rates remain LOW. Again... the strain is less virulent and more contagious.

Herd immunity is at hand.

They are going hard after DeSantis for obvious reasons.

And it's not because of the "virus".

Because school boards are bypassing PARENTS! that's why!

An increasing daily death rate in Florida disagrees with you.

You and I clearly don't see eye to eye. We can agree to disagree here.

We will never, let me repeat... NEVER have 100% vaccination rate. That's a fail in the making. Perfection is a propagandist tool for continued control. I would expect 75-85% vaccination/anti bodies in total.

Florida will be the first state to achieve herd immunity... bet on it along with a thriving economy. 1000 new residents a day also believe that.

Lock downs do not work
Mask are marginal in effectiveness since people use them incorrectly... see liberal politicians for reference
Vaccines work
Anti bodies work
Being healthy and your brain cells is your best defense
Gov. DeSantis is the best governor in the country

Therapeutics will be our response to covid, in the future.

South Dakota claimed the same thing about 'herd immunity' last year, and that fell through pretty hard. Let's not make the same mistakes this time around.

If I see hospitals no longer at or exceeding capacity in surges, I'll start to agree with you.

Do you have a link for that because the population number in the first line is way off- Florida's got like 21.5 million people and not a mere 19 million.
