Exactly. They have the cash but we have the power. Cities leach off the rural areas for food, water, and raw materials. All USTA needs to do is make leaching impossible for SFS, by cutting off supply lines. Then, law and order will prevail.

Interesting mind game, but in the end there will only be one winner of the ongoing Civil War here in the USA.

That will be Vladimir Putin or his successor or other opportunist from the East. A foregone conclusion as the USA becomes weaker and weaker as the internal divisions become wider and civil unrest tears us apart. This was the plan of the USSR since the early days of the Cold War when they promised to destroy us from within. They are delivering on that promise today.

Power is shifting from West to the East, it really has been since the end of WWII, but with the advent of the Internet and the emergence of Trumpism it has accelerated. Most people in the USA are too mesmerized with their petty domestic "civil war" to recognize this or to understand the implications.

The idea that the USA can remain intact as a global power given the internal divisions that our enemies are exploiting is completely delusional. They are simply waiting for us to finish the job of destroying our own Constitution and delivering the riches of North America to them on a platter.

In any case, Corporate America (and world) would be pulling ALL STOPS to keep CW2 from happening.

Imagine the financial devastation befalling the world economy. A country with a population almost the size of the EU, with 22% of the world's wealth, ends up like "Yugoslavia in four time zones (if not six)". Everybody knows the financial hit the world took during 9/11. CW2 would be orders of magnitude worse! I doubt even Russia and China desire anything that chaotic.

Well, Civil War II came and went. The current USA split into two new countries: United States of True America (USTA), bringing back the America that once was, and Sorosfaucistan (SFS), named after the founding sponsors. The nature of each country and the quality of life there are self-explanatory.

So... where would each state go? Let's discuss! Post your own ideas as well. Have fun.

You should read Kurt Schlichter's "People's Republic" series which posits just such a breakup.

The first one is a little rough around the edges in terms of prose, but he gets better as a writer with each book. What struck me, reading the first one in 2016, is that a lot of the social details seemed absurd. Interesting reading, but a lot of "nah, that will never happen." What's scary is that many of them HAVE happened in the last 5 years, to the point it almost feels like prophecy.

Also, the capitol of the United States is now Dallas. As I recall, the capitol of the People's Republic of North America is Washington DC. All the states didn't break cleanly across current boundaries, which you can see from the illustration on the book's cover. An entire novel is devoted to the insurgency that brings southern Indiana back into the United States.

Urbanist...
If you took that long list and divided every state in it, with no change in our Capitol city, it would be more realistic.

States wouldn't divide so easily into your neat little categories with their cutely named Capital cities. The division would be much, much closer than that. It would go down to neighborhoods in the cities and between one neighbor and another in the countryside.

Refrain from this nonsense. The very last thing in your life you want to survive is civil war in 21st century America. It would either end in a week's time or would never end at all.

The conservative base, compared to liberals, is

- older
- more white
- evangelical Christian
- less educated

All of these demographics are declining. So here's my fantasy scenario:

10 years after your Civil War II and division of the states, the states in USTA start petitioning to be readmitted to the TBUSA (which never adopted your silly name). Within 20 years we are united once more, the True Blue United States of America (with the possible exception of a few banana republics.)

Well, this will never happen, but for the sake of this argument, I’d move to the block of States that would immediately plan and execute an invasion of all the other break away states to force them back into the Union, under the rule of our US Constitution.

The Far Left would only occupy the large urban centers, which can be cut off and starved into submission. Plus, the American Professional Warrior Class, which are your Army, Marines, a hand full from the Navy service members and most of law enforcement would leave these urban centers in a heartbeat.

These liberal centers might have an Army Fort near them, but an Army Fort WITHOUT soldiers isn’t going to help them since the Left isn’t capable of conducting military operations or finding enough people who have any level of fighting skills…. Their “Brown Shirts,” Antifa, BLM and the other communists would be taken out very quickly, within a few days, of a military operations by the Conservative’s far larger and better trained warriors.

Seriously, I see stated breaking up into two halves first BEFORE the country split apart. Point and case, Seattle values do not represent the whole State of Washington and the same for New York City, since their views differs greatly from the rest of New York.

I remember reading about Antifa's and/or BLM's plans to bus its members into rural areas to burn down farms. Well, where would they get their half-caf soy lattes from, with the farms gone? (Well, the coffee comes from Colombia or Costa Rica, but the soy is most likely domestically grown.)

In order to prevent such busing from happening during CWII, all USTA needs to do is pile garbage, animal manure, and rocks hidden inside hay bales onto expressways leading out of cities.

TN was the last state to secede and provided as many soldiers to the Union as it did to the Confederacy.

Meh.
You take of executing an invasion, but who will execute? Who will plan?
You're totally mistaken thinking our warrior class will all fight for one side. They won't, but if the fight is to start, it would probably start there, inside the warrior class.

Invading is one thing, and holding is entirely another. There will be no starving into submission when only 6% of us know how to grow our food. Everyone on both sides would starve equally.

Cambodia shows you that. It's literally impossible to teach city people how to farm fast enough to prevent starvation.
Once people start becoming hungry, hostility becomes intensely personal. Hunger occupies the mind and body, and people don't fight when they're starving; they hunt for food.
