Have you actually looked at the maps? The places with severe surges right now match up very well with the areas that have a lower percent vaccinated.

So I guess only the states with low vaccination rates also have the highest surge, amazing coincidence don't you think.

Other than that I will count that as opinion.

All these states that were under vaccinated have suddenly seen a surge in vaccinations, glad that they are finally waking up.
Like talking to a wall.

In other words, you want people to get a shot regardless if it is not recommended to them and have been told they would likely have an adverse effect.

Got it. Case closed.

They are.
In case of my wife's ICU, they do have something like 30 beds and they are overrun indeed.
They have 5 COVID patients. The rest is alcoholics with delirium, drug abusers and the usual cohort of cardiac and other diseases.
ALL of the 5 are morbidly obese.

So yes, KING5 here might as well trumpet, how ICU is overrun. Just not to clarify, what with.

ICUs are being overrun and hospitals are firing nurses that can help people. Yep, makes perfect sense.

In addition, the "surge" that you and the other poster that just parrots talking points are referring to have a lot more to do with ICUs that have a miniscule amount of rooms and nurses. As I've stated many times, we have less than 200 ICU rooms in the Austin metroplex for 2.3 million people. The overall percentage of people in these hospitals are extremely small in comparison to the population of the areas involved.

Besides that - who actually believes the NYT anymore... The people who make up their own sources constantly...

It's also a good tool to look at the John Hopkins graph on hospitalizations so you can understand the type of hyperbole being spewed by the same people screaming about the "surge" and regurgitating the same nonsense.

https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/data/hos...on-7-day-trend

I set the graph for the U.S. but you can also look at individual states like Texas and Florida to see the sensationalized claims of the "surge" (I think we need to get a working definition of what constitutes a "surge").

I'm already bored with the same tired talking points this morning. Back in a day or two.

It's happening in healthcare, schools, police, military, all levels of government.

Demoralization.
Sums it up very well.

Convenient

TEN STAGES OF GENOCIDE

1 Classification: People are divided into "us and them."

2 Symbolization: People are forced to identify themselves.

3 Discrimination: People begin to face systematic discrimination.

4 Dehumanization: People equated with animals, vermin, or diseases.

5 Organization: The government creates specific groups (police/military) to enforce the policies.

6 Polarization: The government broadcasts propaganda to turn the populace against the group.

7 Preparation: Official action to remove/relocate people.

8 Persecution: Beginning of murders, theft of property, trial massacres.

9 Extermination: Wholesale elimination of the group. It is "extermination" and not murder because the people are not considered human.

10 Denial: The government denies that it has committed any crime.

You deflect with obfuscating information.
Can you show me that data - local, state and national? I have been looking and cannot find it.
