then I guess we need a revolution. what your comment really says is that you firmly believe you have the right to tell other people how to live their lives. You are the neighborhood busy body. You want to make sure everyone follows your ideal of health care. You want everyone to live life the way you think right. You don't care a twit about anyone having a good day.

There was no vax when I retired. But I left because the moron bosses would not mask or self distance. Why the arseholes want to put me in danger? Anyhow I left and 2 got the original covid in the office - but got through it. Some offices are like schools, sardines in a small can.

I, angel calzadilla, the subscriber, am willing to die only when the creator and giver of life who is God the eternal and infinite universal spirit of creation considers it, but i am not willing to die by some government mandate delivering authorities and institutions that, in exchange of power, control and wealth, intend to control us by inserting a devil preparation into our organism.
With this I affirm, that i do not submit to the mandate or allow any kind of inoculation in my body. I am the sole owner of my body with my organs and brain included and no one or any entity has that constitutional right or by tyranny that appropries the imposition of rules and laws.
Only on my corpse will they be able to inoculate something in me, and if i have to die in that way defending my absolute right granted by God, then in that way I will die according to my dignity and my decorum.

Are testing available in the community for free? I thought they were.
Personally, I hope to never get tested (I have not yet), because the process looks awful. I could not imagine doing it 2x per week, free or not. OUCH!
Like I said, I'm vaxed, and I will get tested if I am showing symptoms, but I hope I never have to.

Well don't put it off because of that. I just had it done and they no longer require you to stick it up to your brain. You just put it in the regular nose area. I did it myself. No need to have anyone clean out my nose.

My wife works for a corporate office and they tried to implement going back to work for 2x days a week (this started July 1st). Similar to your setup, the policy was if you were not vaccinated you had to wear a mask. It ends up the building she works at had 100% compliance on being vaccinated. What happened? Every week they had a minimum of 2 cases of Covid. After 6 weeks straight of this, they are all back to WFH.
You never know how this will play out and admittedly, she was quite surprised this happened. I certainly wasn't given the information that has come out over the last couple of months regarding waning immunities and the delta variant. There is clearly quite a bit of hypocrisy going on right now in regards to businesses, concerts/sporting events, and the like. One might even say there's a mental block among people that are vaccinated on the fact that they should be wearing masks because if they get infected, the viral load they carry is just as much as someone unvaccinated (and they are putting others at harm). That fact seems to get dismissed because most in that group or more caught up on playing the "blame" game.
Ultimately Arya, don't get too caught up on people on social media that think they have the right to tell you how to live your life (they don't). Responsibility isn't synonymous with getting a shot (a point so many of these dogmatic types don't seem to understand). You do what is right for you and don't worry about others foaming at the mouth.

I've seen "medical testing" at CVS and Walgreens, but not sure if that's what they are testing.
Also, in a strip mall, I saw a health center advertising "free covid testing". I don't know either, but for your case, I thought it was worth asking. Beats the heck out of $16k!
And thanks for the update on the testing, that is good to know. I was not looking forward to "up to my brain" q-tips.

I (a supporter of vaccinating) agree with you 100%, and I said so in my first post in this discussion.
Just to say, there are reasonable people on all sides of this debate, just like there are completely unreasonable people, on all sides of it.
