Biden's mandate is wreaking havoc on the airline industry. Tons of southwest and other airlines flights are being cancelled daily, even hourly. My wife has been reading post after post of people being stranded in airports due to the lack of pilots and how many are quiting due to the mandate. Airline companies are trying to cover it up by citing weather and controller issues but it's obvious due to the number of flights rapidly being cancelled all across the US that there's more to the story.
How is Biden going to Build Back Better, when no one is building anything....

Maybe all we need to do is monitor Twitter.
Somebody had to tell them about the shutdown. Then they have to find a crew to cover the event. That sometimes takes 30 minutes to get somebody on the road. Then they have to get there, interview people to know what's up. Most need to talk to more than one person to verify what they have been told. It could all be just hearsay.
Or have you watch Fox so long the phrases 'somebody said' or' some people think' is proof enough.
This isn’t total fake news. The OP seems to have exaggerated a bit but so have you the other way. So, you are both fake news in an attempt to smear the other party. Here is a local article that states that part of the problem was “an unexpected shortage of staff”. They don’t say what that means, and the reporter is still waiting on answers when this was written. I want to know what caused the staff shortage as well as get a better idea of why so many planes were delayed. Don’t you?

My next door neighbor had her return flight cancelled 2 days before she was supposed to leave for NY to visit her kids. She couldn't find any return home flights at the time so cancelled the whole shebang.

People not flying at the beginning of the Covid scare. This has been going on since the start. Airlines laid off people. When travel started up they were shorthanded. It takes time to ramp up again.

They will not say that they fired workers or that workers quit.
We are supposed to be under the impression that everyone is compliant and getting their shots and only the small minority of anti-vaxxers are getting fired.
And then we have news of a huge labor shortage. Makes you wonder what is really true these days.
On a different news story on ABC weekend this morning a health expert was answering covid questions, like boosters, etc. And the upcoming 'twindemic' possibly of covid+flu. You can get both shots ok (she said).
Then I was surprised when the ABC host asked the expert should we be concerned about hospital nursing shortages during the possible "twindemic". She started to answer but was talking about how important the vax is and then her video froze. The host said they lost connection!
Sure it did. So what appears to happening is there may be requests from admin to MSM play down labor shortages?
