In Fl check out our weather. Storms yesterday n today. If it storms in Miami- NY DC are delayed. They are all connected . Every day there are cancellations- for all kinds of reasons. However- putting falsehoods on the forum with zero evidence to collaborate any part of the story takes all credibility from the poster.
I don’t think it was a walk out of air traffic folks. It was likely some sort of issue where a crazy number of Southwest Airlines staff called out sick
