Billionaire Elon Musk mocked Bernie Sanders after the Vermont senator once again called for the "extremely wealthy" to pay their fair share of tax.

In a tweet on Sunday attacking the 80-year-old, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO said "I keep forgetting that you're still alive" in a reply to a post from Sanders.

Well done Elon Musk. I never understood why the left loves electric vehicles but attacks the very man who helped to make them more acceptable.

I hope to see more pioneers openly mocking politicians attacking them for cheap political points.

Well Musk sits there and brags he'll "Stop world hunger", so it really shouldn't be a problem for him paying more taxes. Sick of us middle class people picking up the tab

I'm also fairly certain Elon Musk paid more taxes than Bernie Sanders is worth.

But he hasn't paid his fair share in a long, long time.

Musk should be paying the same amount of taxes you pay.

So, how much taxes do you pay?

Bernie hasn't paid his fair share in a very long time. Elon's paid way too much, considering Bernie's still on the government payroll.

How much is the fair share? A vote from Elon Musk is the same as a vote from you.

Why should anybody be forced to pay more taxes than you?

There you go. Stand up for those billionaires. They need to have even more wealth steered their way by our tax system.

Absolutely!

More wealth to the rich means more taxes to the government, more jobs to the non-rich, more opportunities for other people to become rich, and more services and products to everybody.

What have you provided to this country?
