I had no negative thoughts towards anyone involved in this tragedy, no political axe to grind or obligation to defend Baldwin, I was just willing to wait for an investigation to conclude and determine what happened that caused this.
However, with Baldwin dumping such a bald faced lie out like that has changed my opinion and strongly makes me inclined to think that after all the attempts to throw the armorer and others under the bus that Baldwin may be much to blame if he was compelled to try to float such an egregious claim.
I'll still wait for the investigation but if someone is throwing out garbage like that it is a huge red flag.

So, it is somewhat conceivable that the gun could have had such a light trigger pull that Baldwin could have pulled the trigger without really intending to.
But the hammer would still have to have been fully cocked first and that's not something you do by accident.
