Critical Race Theory insinuates that blacks are in a permanent state of subjugation to whites because of events that happened many decades or centuries ago. The Civil Rights movement of the 1960s was essentially a failure.
That kind of mindset is not conducive to progress for the next generation.

If the intention was to accurately and unbiasedly convey the horrors of an historic American governmental and systemic model without frenetically analysing its minutia at the expense of other areas of socio-political study then that would be understandable, but if the intention is to deconstruct particular groups for the propping up of another using some type of Darwinistic model then there's a problem.
Take Christopher Columbus, for instance. Reading about his personality and actions, one could make the demonstrable conclusion that he was a callous slave-driver and monster who oversaw the raping and murdering of indigenous peoples in the Caribbean and America proper. We as individuals of a primarily Western European inheritor model hold him up for his tenacity and explorationist mindset that saw Europeans discover a new land. At least that facet of his profile I think can be respected. Something ironic to be noted about the precipitating factors that lead to the pursuit of an alternative route to India in the first place was the final conquest of a pivotal city that linked Europe to the Silk Road, Constantinople, by the invading Turkish Ottomans. I wish that historical facet was discussed more in schools when talking about original motives for European exploration.
When I was in college. I wrote what you stated in the very bottom. Sadly enough the woke in thr Anglosphere is in a major guilt acid trip.
What you claim to be CRT is actually the mainstream understanding of racism. Its what CRT proponents dishonestly claim it's about when they pretend to combat the fictional problem of slavery & Jim Crow not being taught in schools.
Did you notice how many people replied to the same post you did?
That person draws so much attention for a reason. Mostly, because they want it. Just don't give it to them. They're not here to debate or discuss. They never, ever add anything substantive to a discussion and they consume far too much of the other posters' time with nothing gained whatsoever for the cost.
Critical Race Theory(CRT) and Critical Race Applied Principles(CRAP) are a repackaged form of Critical Theory which is used by marxists to push communism and socialism. It just substitutes race for class. We need to keep that CRAP out of our schools.
Isn't that the most obvious freaking thing ever? Blows me away that people don't see it right off the bat. Probably because they were never introduced to Marxism as anything other than a viable solution. They weren't taught how it works, what the strategies are, etc. Just that it's good. Of course, they aren't told that those ideas have Marxist roots until they're in college and the hook has already been set.
Race is literally a genetic construct. If it was anything else, we'd make a different word for it. I dunno culture?
This is like all the other upside down talk like boys are girls, war is peace freedom is slavery ignorance is strength etc. Double think world communism ****.
What you're asking us to "explore" is double think. The vessel for 1984 communism.
These people want to divide Americans against each other.

All I get is this revisionist gibberish.
These revisionists expect that the U.S. or any Western country is created perfect, rather than with flaws. Flaws are part of humanity.

Such as when Kamala Harris thought that the verdict in the Rittenhouse matter reflected a lack of "equity", i.e. he should have been tried in a kangaroo court?

That is the new mantra from the right, I have seen equity, equality and inclusion listed on a T-Party sign as paths to "Communism/Socialism".
I guess a level playing field and "all men are created equal" as our Declaration of Independence states are just words to these people. Because anyone who believes them must be a communist/socialist for wanting to implement them....
CRT is a decades old academic concept. The core idea is that race is a social construct, and that racism is not just a product of individual bias/prejudice, but can be something embedded in legal systems and policies. Why would anyone not want that to be something we explore from an academic perspective?
90% of people who are anti-CRT have no clue what it is beyond misinformation fed by certain media outlets.
It is revisionist history BS.
"Academic perspective"- what a crock of BS. CRT was based on the OPINION of a journalist who has no formal training or degrees in history and is based on current cultural marxism and revisionism to appease the minority population.
CRT is the antithesis of "academic", objective endeavors.
Why do you think critical race theory should be taught in schools?
It's not. So stop gaslighting us.
