It's pretty much what it's coming to, since the last I've heard on Russian... ( sorry Ukrainian) news, is that the negotiations between the US and Russia are going ahead, Russia doesn't mind to include the US in the Minsk format ( since it's the US that defines Ukrainian policies anyway,) and Russia's objections/concerns over her security are taken in consideration by now.
The GDP of my state, California, has a GDP that is DOUBLE that of Russia.
If Russia was smart the people would overthrow Putin, become a legitimate social democracy, join the West instead of fighting it. There are many economic opportunities if they aligned with the West. Russia is Russia's worst enemy.

Don't think so. Russia is not ready to spend trillions on Ukraine denazification, not to say rebuilding it economy. USA spent over $5bln to build Nazism there, so let USA continue to deal with this cesspool.

Moscow is one of the most beautiful, cleanest and advanced cities of the world. Their public subway stations look like palaces. No graffiti, no garbage on streets etc.

Russia chief advantage is they they have the stake in the game , and the rest of the world knows it. Though again Western Ukraine is really not going to work, just Donbas.
American media still mocks Russia because everyone here is stuck in the 1990s when people saw Russia as a heaping pile atop the ruins of the USSR. But it is not the 90s anymore, wake up.
