Which we are.

I'm wondering if we look back, at Florida the same time last year if there was a spike ? Let's think about what time of the year it is. It is snowbird season. Many flock from mid western states , to the warmth of Florida. Remember , last month, here in MI ( a blue state since the OP wants to make it political) we had the record for daily cases, and now the snowbirds are leaving here and heading south. I bet all the southern warmer climate states will be seeing spikes in cases in the next month.

Looks like the OP takes the MSM stories at face value and doesn't question how the journalists interpret the data and report it.

This link says the spread of cases is worse in places that have tougher masking and vaccinaton laws than Florida:

https://www.foxnews.com/us/cities-wi...e-covid-spikes

Is Fox News making these stats up? If you think so, please provide a link proving otherwise.

Otherwise, I'll just conclude that Florida is seeing a spike due to millions of Northerners coming down for their annual dose of warm weather, Sun, and freedom....millions of snowbirds and tourists.

Why do you trust any MSM story that does not provide a link to the actual stats ? That Fox article just links to NYT articles. Why not NYS data instead ?
None of them are anymore so one had to go digging on state websites for actual data.
And we all know that the majority of people will not do that and just take these MSM stories at face value.

The power of propaganda people. They are handing you koolaid and you're drinking it with no question.

I provided links to Florida state covid tracker. You can easily go there and find that information for yourself.

We do not have the same variant circulating so what you "think" is not valid.
The varian circulating last year was more dangerous to your body than the one circulating now.

Rather..look at hospital/death stats instead.
