None of them are anymore so one had to go digging on state websites for actual data.
And we all know that the majority of people will not do that and just take these MSM stories at face value.

The power of propaganda people. They are handing you koolaid and you're drinking it with no question.
How many links do you need to see to belive that cases are exploding in many states, aside from Florida?

I've read stories from at least 5 other states.

https://www.cnn.com/2022/01/01/healt...day/index.html

This link mentions New York, New Jersey, Ohio, and Maryland.

Florida's cases are almost ALL Omicron...mild cold with sniffles...big deal. I had it for 2 days, & I could have run a 5k at its peak.

States with strict masking and vaccine laws are doing worse than Florida. Florida has millions of visitors from up North right now, so of course many of them bring it down & show up as testing positive in FLA.

Florida's freedom first approach cannot be proven to be any worse than Northern states that are violating Amricans personal freedoms.

Florida hospital stats:

https://web.fha.org/External/WCPages...x?ArticleID=92

covid hospitalization on 12/27: 2075
covid hospitalization on 8/23 : 17,121

Now how is that possible that a lower number "sets the record" for hospitalization ?
Yes you are correct Aug 20 was the record but there is a steep incline due to the infections, hospitalizations generally lag infections which are setting records.

No idea why Florida is so slow in reporting to HHS and the Worldometers but hospitalizations have more than doubled in a week.

1/3 hospitalizations are now 5,690.

DeSantis should be concerned about more than monoclonal antibodies especially with the snow birds arriving and schools opening.

You should be concerned about exploding cases, hospitalizations, and deaths (again) in your home state of New York. Strangely, you aren't. Do you work for the NY Democrat Party, Cuomo, and/or Hochul?

yes, we are correct that you are wrong, as often happens. And which actual data easily and usually disproves.

oh so it's "yes, but...."

Sad sorry excuses. Stop reading MSM stories and start reading the daily data posted on state websites.
The CDC changed reporting by hospitals on 12/30.

You see the surge because of that. And the NY Governor even called for NY hospitals to change what they report to differentiate testing positive for covid and testing positive for covid and admitted for covid.

You go in for a broken leg, test positive for covid with no symptoms, get your cast and go home and that "positive" is counted and part of the "huge surge" of cases by the MSM.

PROPAGANDA to keep you afraid, very afraid.

one good thing for folks like him - the Omicron explosion of cases have made all prior peaks look like bumps in the road.

1/3 hospitalizations for New York are now 10,411.

My claim is not too broad. The fact is the majority of American's who either choose or are forced to mask up use masks that are totally ineffective against Covid. Nothing more than virtue signalling by liberals. Please wear your three masks at once. Then when the CDC and Fauci tell you then you can bump it up to 4 layers. That might work lol!!!

The numbers I posted showing hospitalizations doubling in a week were from HHS, same site you used. . So yes the current infection rate didn't set the record but it's still a huge increase, celebrate.

Florida has yet to update the Worldometers since Dec 31

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

Yes NY is having a surge, never indicated otherwise but they are taking action whereas DeSantis is MIA and finally reappeared to complain about his lack of monoclonal antibodies. Ban on mask policies and vaccine mandates remains in place.

Hospitals around the country are using pretty much the same policies for infections as Florida. It wasn't a problem back in November when everyone was celebrating the low infection rate as a success story but now it's an issue.

You probably should worry about your own state as they are nearly double that of Florida while having 2 million less in population.
