Another thing that knocked Carter down early in his first year, the shady banker he appointed, Bert Lance, the so called Lance Affair. Carter hesitated for several months in getting rid of him, but he should have fired him right away considering the stand he made on being honest. This knocked his approval numbers down by
quite a bit within his first year of office.

People should ask themselves why someone builds something back? You build back something that has been torn down. That's the unspoken prerequisite clause in BBB. "Tear America Down so we can Build Back Better" The better part means the new Marxist image of America. It's a time honored algorithm of Marxism. They know you can't sell it to happy, confident, prosperous people who have religion, family, an honored history, property and a means of defending themselves. All of those things must be torn down and in the chaos you sell Marxism to the desperate masses and convince them that you will build them back better.

A big difference between Carter and Biden is Biden is both incompetent and lacking a little in his mental faculties and was dishonest even before. Carter was sincere (IMHO) and had some things happen that I wouldn't blame him for.

President Trump had a point. Many of the problems America had during that time were not caused by President Carter. I somehow doubt Joe Biden will have an achievement like the Egypt-Israel peace accord. But he could get Europe and large portions of Asia vaporized. But remember .... he has a 3 day limit on responsibility.
Both are/were naive, both appease enemies, both were inept, both don't understand economics. The impact of Carter's appeasement was far worse, leading to years of problems in Afghanistan, Nicaragua, Iran, and Russia/USSR. But Biden's still got three more years to eff things up.
He may not need 3 years. He appears ready to vaporize large sections of Europe and let China take Taiwan. This will get Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Laos to seek the umbrella protection of India as the sole nuclear power willing to deter China. Should this occur, no one will remember the picadillos of James Earl Carter. Good luck getting semi-conductor production up and running.

You have to unlearn some propaganda and read some law.
Specifically, the Declaration of Independence: All men are born equal and have Creator endowed rights that governments were instituted to secure - and do nothing more without consent of the governed. Since all men are born equal - none higher - Americans hold the highest status at law - sovereign.
THIS is what the LEFT must destroy - the republican form of government. Only one nation on earth has it. No, it's not synonymous with a republic. The Peoples Republic of China is a republic but NOT a republican form.
In all other nations, the people are subjects of their sovereign governments. Only in America are the people sovereigns and the government is their servant - unless they consent otherwise.
If you doubt that the Declaration is the foundation of all American law, check your state's constitution, and you should see a restatement of the "self evident truths" of the Declaration. That is the basis for the "republican form" that the USCON guarantees to the States (Art. 4, Sec. 4).
The Supreme Court also affirms it -
