Aside from being black and female, same old pattern continues, another Harvard alumni.

SCOTUS resembles a jobs work project for Ivy League undergraduate and law.

On a more interesting note, the woman is related to Paul Ryan by marriage. Didn't see that one coming..

Graduates of prestigious law schools dominate the highest court in the land? You don't say!

Back when Harvard, Yale, etc... were all white Protestant males, department of state and few other areas of federal government were dominated by Ivy League graduates as well.

This came to a head during run up and throughout WWII as lone Jew( Henry Morgenthau Jr.) in FDR's administration tried to get State Department to do more about getting Jews out of harms way from Hitler and his nasty Nazi regime. WASPs in state department didn't see a problem and or immediate urgency, so Morgenthau worked around them, and eventually confronted his boss FDR on the matter.

I really wish he went with Judge Childs. We may share differing views on the law, but I do think that educational diversity is relevant, too. This was one of the reasons why I supported Amy Coney Barrett's nomination (one of many reasons). I appreciated that she did not attended Notre Dame Law School.

I honestly couldn't tell you if she's qualified to be on the Supreme Court, however, the racism and sexism that went into this pick has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Judge Childs had the republican support, so he went with the other choice.

Nothing prestigious about the low-brow clown college she came from.

I know nothing of jackson's politics, but this woman has experience as a judge, been married to the same man for decades, two children, and good character as assessed by Sen. Ryan. I'm glad another married woman with children will be on the supreme court instead of another childless spinster like the "wise latina" and the former law professor who never even served as a judge prior to joining the SCOTUS.

Unsurprising that Biden’s handlers would force him to pick the most radical activist judge possible.
