How patriotic in these times of crisis

Quote:
“Just 3% of 2020 Trump voters are willing to say President Biden is ‘doing a better job leading his country’ than Putin.

Nearly half (47%) of Trump voters say Putin is doing a better job than Biden, even as Russia’s economy threatens to collapse”
It's plain and simply Anti-Americanism

well, The Russian government-backed agency reportedly runs social media accounts disseminating "disinformation".

In all fairness, it is safe to assume that half of those twitter accounts are likely bots.

I don't blame this on Biden, the Europeans should be taking the lead in defending their own continent. Sure we should help and assist, but this should mostly be their fight and our help. The Ukrainians are doing a great job for what they have to work with, and I wish them well.

It’s not a bit comical. It’s a Tragedy for Ukraine and perhaps for the rest of the world.

That waste contributes to the demand, thus increasing the price.

Americans could stop the buying of that 6% we buy from Russia just by driving sensibly.
I’ve posted this before … the US Northeast (particularly Massachusetts) is buying LNG from Russia.
They can’t buy it from the LNG shippers in the USA because of the old Jones Act (Congress could fix this, but the Unions refuse) - Biden could suspend it during the Emergency he just re-authorized, but he won’t for the same reason. The reason the East Coast has to buy Russian LNG is because they refuse to have a Natural Gas pipeline.

Russian oil also goes to the Gulf Coast to make up for US oil shortages.
None of it has to do with the famous “waste” or with driving sensibly.
I know this is shocking to many, but Oil is delivered/supplied by Contracts —- not Door Dash.
When you look at the daily Oil Prices, those are “ Futures Prices” for Contract/Purchase.

.
Joe Biden, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Poland: "Ukraine, here are some weapons, no strings attached."

Donald Trump to Zelenskiy: "Ukraine, I'm holding up Javelin missiles unless you interfere in our election."

Trump got impeached for it and despised worldwide. Zelenskiy is a global hero. Oh, the karma...

Stopping them? No

Effective? Absolutely

Russian Oligarchs are having their finances interrupted, and Putin is feeling the pinch. He'll never say "I stopped the invasion because of sanctions" and he probably never would stop for that reason alone. But the sanctions are helping. They are complicating his plan, complicating his support, and actually will make it more difficult (not impossible) to fund the military effort.

There is no single solution. Boots on the ground, bombs from above, sanctions, Saber-rattling, diplomacy, etc. None will solve it alone, all will make a difference together. These are the things the prior admin was not capable of understanding.

Wrong.

Putin saw no need to invade Ukraine during Trump's time in office because he knew Trump was not a strong NATO supporter and would not encourage Ukraine's admission into NATO.

Putin pulled the trigger to invade under Biden out of panic and fear precisely because Biden is a strong believer in NATO. Only a few months ago Biden and Zelenskiy were discussing Ukraine's application and criteria for NATO admission.

Putin invaded because of Biden's strength and dedication to NATO, the EU and his support of Zelenskiy.

So a new narrative is born

Joe Biden is doing a good job...He demonstrated the invasion was a premeditated act of aggression. He worked with NATO and the EU to achieve a consensus...And Europe came to the conclusion it would do everything American foreign policy had wanted."
