I am no fan of Joe Biden. But I think the Russia situation is not something anybody could do much about. If Trump were President, then maybe he could delay Russia's ambitions for a few more years, but that's about it.

Putin was going to invade Ukraine and expand the territory of Russia no matter what. This is just the beginning.

This has obviously been on Putin's mind and planning stage for awhile.
He would have done this no matter who was President of whatever country at the time.

We can only control our actions, not the actions of others.

Who thinks Biden has handled the Ukraine/Russian situation well?

I think Biden has been a disaster. However, I don't think he has been that bad with regards to this crisis.

It's not like we or anyone else is going to take Russia on directly. And Biden probably could have signed an agreement to never allow Ukraine to do this or that, but he did not bow down. He marshalled just enough solidarity amongst the Allies and now the bravery of the Ukrainians has expanded that.

Biden dropped the ball on other things that are not directly connected. He has created chaos on our border. He has continued to stoke the flames of disunity. And he has squelched energy independence. All of this makes us weaker in all things including dealing with Putin.

honestly not sure how any POTUS will handle this situation other than sanction. if he said he wont let ukraine join NATO that will certainly avoid war, but ppl will call him weak and bow to russia.

He's done a great job on the Ukraine issue. From start to current.

Putin and his staff have been hurt in the only area they care about, their wallets.

Putin and buddies do not care about the Russian people or its economy.

Biden knows how to handle Putin. Take away his ability to put out false information, give out the plans of Putin in advance.
Hit his buddies in the wallet.

Putin's tell is he continues to threaten even worse Nuke attacks. While his buddies are all losing their money and whine about how sanctions mean nothing yet threaten more war.
They are getting their clocks cleaned.

It's all about restoring the Russian empire, wallet padding is a secondary thought.

Could have been better, but not too bad, all things considered. The intelligence strategy to quickly declassify and disseminate intelligence concerning Russian plans was a good move. Ultimately, it did not prevent an invasion, but it did hinder it somewhat and dealt a blow to the Kremlin in terms of propaganda. As to the ways it could have been better, sanctions should have been imposed on Russia before the invasion, not after.
