When I was growing up they used to say that the USA had enough Nuclear Weapons to blow up the earth 13 times i'm sure the USSR was no different, after the first time what does it really matter....
I think the only reason Putin would dare use nuclear weapons on us is if we went directly into Ukraine with our soldiers and helped fight the Russian soldiers.

How has he been humiliated? Has he lost a war? Do countries reject his Natural Gas? We were humiliated in Iraq and Afghanistan and the world still turns.
Lets just say most of us would turn to dust before we noticed the blast.
Let’s say Washington DC gets nuked — how far away (miles) from the exact blast would you quickly turn to dust, and how far away would the radiation spread in just a few hours?
