How is it stupid?

I would guess most wouldn't want an apartment complex or a gas station next door.

Money has never, ever, ever, EVER been the issue.

It's the lack of competition. Schools don't have excel to remain in business.

Not rich here, by any chance, although I would consider myself a NIMBY. We worked hard to get ourselves out of a declining neighborhood, why would we want to see that happen where we live now ? I see nothing wrong with this thinking.

Doesnt that mean the problem isnt public schools though ?

In my high school , a public one in Alabama of all places, we had degree plans.

As someone with a College prep diploma specializing in Tech/Business, the only time I ever had contact with troublesome students was in electives.

Why would you believe the 2 are even connected ???? Hence, what is wrong with what you are thinking, LOL.

I live in the 7th fastest growing micro metro in the nation, and the City i work in just rejected an apartment complex that was going to have units at no less than 1500 a month.

another company wanted to build duplexes at no less than 2500 a month. None of this would hurt what ever thought you have in your head, but the truth is people like you just dont like the idea and it makes no sense.

Republicans support school choice and seek to expand it. What propaganda media told you the lie?

Cant expand it if all you do is leave kids behind. That makes it worse not better. We have talked about this a million times.

IM not against school choice, im a realist and I know what you support would hurt more than it helps, the real question is, do you care ?

Explain to me how it would hurt more than help. Because failing inner city schools would actually go out of business?

That's a good thing. That's the whole point of school choice. Adapt/get better or die. The free market and freedom of choice has improved the quality of everything from commercial airplanes to toothpicks. The only products and services in which we see mass stagnation are the ones that are essentially controlled by the government.

How much good money do you have to keep throwing after bad before you say "enough"?

Not really sure I'm following you. It doesn't make sense to you why people like me don't want apartment complexes, etc built near our neighborhoods ? Is that it ? If so, I'm baffled you can't figure this out.

Although, I live in a semi rural area, it sounds like you live in the city. That is probably why. I moved away from the city to get away from all the people, the rising crime, etc.
