Exxon clarifies flagpole rule ahead of Pride month.

Flags designed by the company’s employee affinity groups, including the LGBTQ employee group, can be flown on company flag poles. The flag that says "Pride" pictured in the link below can be flown.

"Exxon Mobil Corp. plans to prohibit the LGBTQ-rights flag from being flown outside its offices during Pride month in June, prompting a furious backlash from Houston-based employees.

Exxon updated company guidance on what flags can be displayed outside its offices, banning “external position flags” such as PRIDE and Black Lives Matter, according to the policy seen by Bloomberg News. In response, members of Exxon's PRIDE Houston Chapter are refusing to represent the company at the city’s June 25 Pride celebration, according to an employee group email also seen by Bloomberg.

“Corporate leadership took exception to a rainbow flag being flown at our facilities” last year, Exxon’s PRIDE Houston employee group wrote in the email Thursday. “PRIDE was informed the justification was centered on the need for the corporation to maintain ‘neutrality.’”
Americans are pushing back the loons who keep pushing their agenda and are NEVER SATISFIED.

Its the norm today for large companies and industry to take stands on popular issues. Exxon is living in the past if that is what they truly think, gone are the days when companies remain neutral on issues.

But Exxon is not really a company that can be targeted, like many other companies, people cannot boycott Exxon in anyway, it wouldnt work or be practical, (people would have no idea if they are buying Exxon product or not).
"Its the norm today"

Thank you for your very substantiated very biased opinion.

So the deviants political movement already have extra privileges there, but wanted more extra privileges and are protesting because they couldn't get more extra privileges over the extra they already have.

Yep it's never enough. They will never be satisfied until everyone is some form of LGBTQ. That's why they are so desperate to indoctrinate the children.

Either is one of them, or bows down to them.

In the mean time, they continue their attempts to groom elementary school children to make them compliant to molestation and further brainwashing.

Our literature, philosophy and traditions celebrate the romantic love between a man and a woman - in whatever culture you observe. That is a bedrock of society and that is what I believe should be taught to children today and to future generations.
there is a big problem with your thinking... homosexuality was not invented by lady gaga... it is innate, natural and since the beginning of time... we have thousands of homoerotic poems, gay pagan gods, emperors, warriors. an entire western history documented about this sexuality, as with heterosexuality there is nothing new here... So it's not just the relationship between man and woman that is cerebrated... on the contrary, the role of women has always been downgraded following the real ones. traditions.

Today we live in modern times, where homosexuality and its expression are not only accepted.... but legally equated with heterosexuality... and with that its promotion and celebration are equally valid.....

So if you exert heteronormative social pressure on individuals, expect an equal response from homonormatives.

I'd probably prefer if companies just sort of all bowed out of the support for causes. Maybe things like cancer awareness and that sort of thing, but social issues it would make more sense to stay more neutral on some of those things.

Actually the problem is with your thinking, not his. That poster even said he was not against homosexuality. There’s a big difference between accepting homosexuality and celebrating or even promoting it. If you don’t see the difference then it’s your thinking that is the problem.
