REally?

I have never met anybody whose insurance is 100% provided by their employer. Anybody here ever know anybody that had that benefit.
Silicon Valley companies may provide $0-employee-part insurance, but even they don't provide free insurance to all members of a family.
Also, unlike countries with free healthcare, you may have to pay a hefty deductible.

Venezuela can sell oil and buy everything. All Venezuelans can work only 4 hours a day and enjoy life.

But there are a few countries that actively oppose this kind of socialism.

Being attacked by capitalists to make sure that they do not succeed might be a factor.

It is curious that 700 year old double-entry accounting is not mandatory in the schools.

I prefer the term "political class," but it means the same thing.

It's a small group of very wealthy individuals that are able to manipulate the political process for their own benefit.

What would you call them?

But their countries have already been made unbearable BY CAPITALISM. They are looking for place where worker bees have higher living standard than the crumbs tossed by handful of CAPITALISTS/Kleptocrats. The end game of Capitalism is just like Parker Bros Monopoly. Its to concentrate the wealth down to one single player. When one player has it all, declare him King and start all over making him share the wealth and political power. He grants use of some properties to his cronies in exchange for their loyal support......

Great speech but utter nonsense top to bottom. Guys like you yearn for Norway but they won't take you.

Nor do they want to pay Norway taxes. Norweigians pay a stupidly high VAT...something like 25%....among other absurdly high taxes.

They think eating the rich is enough to pay for all that welfare.

Which country is made unbearable by capitalism? Can you name one thing that is not provided for you by capitalism?

You people are so ungrateful.

They can eat the rich now but after that, they would be eating each other literally.

Capitalism provides a greater standard of living for more people than any other economic system. The poor in America have food, shelter and even a fair amount of luxuries. In some countries being poor means you live in a dirt floor shack and have little food and water. Capitalism has provided for most of us even if it is not equally. Capitalism motivates people to do better and that is why it produces more. Is it fair? No. Life is not fair. Capitalism the most successful economic system in the world. Marxist systems like socialism and communism are utter failures and have resulted in authoritarian societies, wars, mass poverty and human misery.

The United States is no different, if we implement socialism we will face the same consequences that all the others did who have had. Venezuela anyone?
