Then they leave behind 80 billion in military equipment in Afghanistan leaving hundreds behind, and he wants to make them pay for over-educated college grads who can't find a job by forgiving their loans?

Say WHAT?

People are mad, much more angry at the Democrats than at abortion which is not even going to be banned
I feel like the GOP base will still be motivated but I feel like the Democrat base will match that motivation. The Democrat base is generally unmotivated but they will be exponentially more motivated for this election, because the Republicans chose the wrong thing to try to undo. This is too big of an issue for them to just allow. The Republican base will vote, but some moderate Republicans will possibly vote Democrat.

I don't know how much damage this will do to the expected red wave, but Republicans aren't going to get out of this predicament completely unscathed IMHO.

Biden was handed the potential for a massive economic recovery on a silver platter and he blew it by blowing out the economy with unnecessary spending to turbo charge inflation and re-introduce regulation at all levels of government.

And if that weren't bad enough, he ruined America's reputation by abandoning "no man left behind" when he left hundreds of Americans behind and ceded billions of military equipment to the Taliban in the biggest foreign embarrassment in US history

And if that weren't bad enough, he blew the border wide open for millions of illegals to flood in

And if that weren't bad enough, he came out in favor of sex change operations for little kids and had the DOJ label concerned parents as "domestic terrorists"

I could go on, but I don't have to.

The Abortion debate is a complete nothingburger in the upcoming elections. Expect a historic meltdown when that sinks in come November
I say that hardly anything else stirs out the women, liberal and Democrat voters than this topic. They don't change their vote, but IMO so many more will be more apt to vote.

The court’s decision will be made soon. Every emotionally traumatized liberal will become less ignorant when they realize abortions will still be had by whoever wants one. The doxxing and harassment of SC justices will anger people who don’t care about which way the decision goes, and motivate them to vote. The planned scheme by the left with their signs and bullhorns ready immediately after the leak, intimidation and threats against SC justices, having to cancel appearances out of fear for their safety, screaming at their residences, threats, is what most reasonable people are sick of. It’s embarrassing to see liberal congresspeople acting like spoiled school kids who didn’t get their way and, worse, encouraging violence. Get them out.

I doubt it.

Women will still be able to get an abortion. You can literally order abortion pills through the mail.

I'm not a Democrat, and I would never vote for Biden, but I think you're wrong.

Those other things that you brought up will fade in comparison to the abortion debate.

However, issues re the economy won't fade.

Yes, and some through 'virtual appointments' with doctors in other states who will write prescriptions, but it's my understanding that this is regulated by one of the alphabet agencies and is only allowed up until a maximum of 10 weeks of development.

Depending on which state they live in, and their own circumstances, they may still be paralyzed with the fear of being sued.

^^^^^ Spoken by a man, and as men it's misogynistic to think that women shouldn't have full control of their own bodies, and that what they choose to do with their bodies (when not in physical contact with us) is any of our business.

Well, we'll find that out from the soon upcoming primaries how well the incumbent state Republican legislators win or lose who have voted to pass extreme bills that ban nearly all abortion. Quite possibly their Republican challengers just have to say that unlike the incumbents they would have included rape and incest as exceptions to get more votes from Republican women than the incumbent. From the past, 2018, the Republican Party in Oklahoma was utterly shocked and dumbfounded by how many of their incumbents got voted out from the summer primary. It was because they refused to vote yes for a raise in teacher pay. Interesting, since teacher pay, like abortion only directly affects few people.

And for this notion that Biden blew the border wide open for millions of illegals to flood in, I certainly don't sense how it adversely affects me. I don't sense there are any more Mexicans or illegal immigrants in town worse than usual. They have been around for at least a couple of decades, working in Mexican owned restaurants for instance.

After the past three years, I take nothing off the table.

But the one-sided analysis the left is so fond of doesn't apply to the real world.

Yes, many on the left feel strongly about abortion and will show up in large numbers to vote for Democrats, but this will only matter in a handful of swing states where as many, or more, conservatives will be motivated to show up and vote for Republicans.

The wild card in all this is the pro-life Democrats and pro-abortion Republicans that have ignored their party's respective position on abortion because, under Roe, it didn't matter.

I look forward to seeing who will grab the low-hanging political fruit of the wildly popular abortion restrictions such as 24-hour waiting period, parental notification for minors and a pre-abortion ultrasound.

Also, keep in mind that the voters haven't had a say in this matter since 1973.

In a sense, the issue has time traveled fifty years and will only now become a malleable part of the political process.

Stock up on popcorn!
