What do these Wagner Group evil ones want?
Money? Land?
What is their goal worldwide? Thanks.
It sounds like many of the actual fighters are just prisoners that are being granted early release after completing a tour in Ukraine. Putin gets rid of some undesirables in exchange for bits and pieces of Ukraine. Evil? Perhaps, but that's government for you.
I am of the opinion that there is no such thing as "good government", unless you're talking about a small, weak government that is largely deprived of resources, power and control. Dictators like Putin would never get away with what he is doing today if the government there was small and weak compared to the rest of Russia.
The Kerch Bridge connecting Russia with the Crimea is only 5 years old and it already aligns with the quality we are used to see from Russian origin. It is so on brand.
This is the result when you have a corrupt regime and incompetent managers whose primary skill is rear-kissing while selling half of the materials on the black market. Wait long enough and you don’t need explosives to bring that bridge down.

For starters, they want to finish the war they didn't start.
On their own terms.
That's what I've already heard before.
As for the rest - here is straight from the horse's mouth, from Prigozhin's PR service;
#1724 We publish a request from the editors of CNN directed to us, and our response to them;
Dear press service!
The Moscow studio of the television company CNN has a request. Please let us know about the press conference in Nizhny Novgorod. When will it take place, where and how can we get accreditation?
We publish a comment by Evgeny Prigozhin:
“In response to CNN and others interested in media press conference. There was no press conference, the Patriot media holding simply gathered its partners in the region. This is a closed event that our partners attend. We discuss with them how to deliver the truthful news and to explain the situation to the population of the Russian Federation the best way, without causing panic, and on the other hand, to mobilize society instead of overly pacifying it, as some media ( including Federal channels) does it.
We are preparing for a hard long war, and therefore CNN does not get there in any way, except with one condition: if CNN clearly accepts our agenda and delivers everything that we ask to the world community. I can throw in the few first theses. In these theses for CNN, the first thing will be - Russia must be respected. If you don't respect it, we will rip your ass wherever possible. If the army fails, then Wagner PMC will do it."
Before posting something like this, you ever looked into how well Russia is prepared for an offense? And working on it? satellite images are a plenty. You do know that in positional warfare, ATTACKING side has losses 10 to 1 for the defending side? That nothing really changed since the WW1 in positional warfare principles? Ukraine has 10 to 1 manpower to go through another meat grinder? Old F-16s, if any, will bomb everything into powder? Handful of newer tanks from conservation, that will get stuck in Ukrainian mud and without on site repair base will just fly through the dragon teeth and mine fields, while Russian air defense etc is sleeping, drinking and fornicating?
Seriously?
I'm enjoying this post. You know what it means when your side starts to boast of its amazing defense and how well prepared it is to meet an offense? It means you have ceded the initiative. It means you're letting the other side decide when and where the fight will be. The French in 1940 had the world's best defensive positions, it was not even debatable. And yet...

They are Russians who are essentially pirates. Officially, they do not exist, so their deaths are not counted as war dead. The only rules they have are the ones they make for themselves.
Their payday is a portion of the booty they steal from other countries like Central African Republic, Syria and Mali.
The leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, is one of the oligarchs we hear so much about. That means he is a billionaire with special connections to Putin.

Enjoyment is all on this side of the table. As I mentioned, kindly please, review the commonly available images of the deeply echeloned defense systems AND basic principle of the positional warfare: 10 to 1 losses for the attacking side.
Who even told you that Russia has any intentions to continuously attack?
As a military strategist, you surely are familiar with the steamroller tactic. That's what they are doing.
One thing I know about Prigozhyn and Wagner group is that he just had hell of free advertisement for his boys all over the world. Even Blackstone can't compare.
