Front line at Ocheretiono crumbled. RuAF move forward without any noticeable resistance.

Two developments worth speaking of:
  • The EU has agreed to use Russia's frozen assets to fund weapons and aid for Ukraine. The deal involves using the estimated €4.4bn windfall profits from €191bn of Russian Central Bank assets held by Euroclear in Brussels.
  • A Ukrainian attack drone flew a record 930 miles to hit an oil refinery deep inside Russia. Russia air defenses are virtually nil. Unsophisticated drones are able to fly across Russia unchallenged.

Minor chunk? I'll take the minor chunk that buys mansions and Ferraris thank you.

Ukraine will now be recruiting Ukrainian prisoners for the war.

Is the $60 billion stimulus package not working? Didn't the woke laugh at Russia for recruiting prisoners?

Britain has recently taken action against Russia, as it's believed the Russian GRU Intelligence agents organised recent arson attacks against Ukrainian businesses in Britain, and that the Russian Defence Attache Colonel Maxim Elovik is a senior GRU officer.

It is the first time that Britain has ejected a Russian defence attache since the end of the cold war and the closure of Russian diplomatic facilities is unprecedented.

The Home Secretary also announced the closure of several Russian diplomatic premises including Seacox Heath, a Russian-owned mansion in Ticehurst on the East Sussex/Kent border, and the trade and defence section in Highgate in London, will be removed, whilst there will also be new restrictions on diplomatic visas.

I suspect the Russian Government will send home British officials and come up with other measures, but that's up to the Russian Government, however I think most people in Britain have become increasingly sick and tired of the GRU's activities and the current Russian regime in Moscow .

As already stated the closure of such Russian diplomatic facilities is unprecedented, and even during the height of the Cold War such facilities remained open, and I don't think you even fully appreciate what Russia has lost.

The Soviets acquired the vast Seacox Heath eatate near Ticehurst in East Sussex, back in October 1946, including 83 acres, , all of which enjoyed Diplomatic Status.

As for the the Russian Trade Delegation in London it was established on 24 February 1920, and was the first Russian trade representation abroad, and it began the history of trade representations of Russia in foreign countries.

The Russian facilities at Highgate included include the Defence Attaché's Office at 44 Millfield Lane, Highgate whicg would have been the office of the now expelled Russian defence attache’s offices and backed on to the Russian Trade Offices at 33 Highgate West Hill, Highgate. The offices are situated among the most expensive real estate in the UK, and the land is worth tens of millions of pounds/dollars.

Both these sites survived all the political fall out and events of the Cold War and stretch back over 100 years in terms of Russian trade and defence section and nearly 80 years in relation to Seacox Heath, and both are far older than most US diplomatic facilities including such facilities as Winfield House which became US the ambassador's residence in London in 1955.

Whilst as already mentioned it is the first time that Britain has ejected a Russian defence attache since the end of the cold war.

The main building and Consular section is located at 5 and 6-7 Kensington Palace Gardens at the junction with Bayswater Road and the Ambassador's Residence is located in a separate building at 13 Kensington Palace Gardens (Harrington House) are however still operational and still have diplomatic status, but the loss of the site at Highgate and Seacox Heath will be a significant diplomatic blow to Russia, and is unprecedented in the history of the Soviet Union never mind Russia.
