Pretty hysterical, pointing to the strength of a currency that cannot, by Russian law, be exported and thus is worthless outside of Russia.
The brain drain, the economic drain, the population collapse and isolation of Russia will destroy it. Even then the Ruble will have value - in Russia. I remember back when Ruskateers were sneering about the Kherson offensive. "Where is it?", they chided. Now, the offensive has happened but only one of the Ruskateers is still around.

Putin could not find any real mothers of soldiers to put on TV, so he used wives of aides who pretended to be proud mothers.
Ukraine will rebuild just like every other country in history that has fought off invaders. Their oil and gas will help, but the real work will be accomplished by exposing Ukraine to the US and European markets. Russia will never regain the strength it had in January of 2022.

If they bomb the nuclear power plants, or use tactical nuclear arms...it will be uninhabitable.
I believe Putin will do either, or both, before he "loses".
Who cares what happens to Russia? But, nobody notes that no Russian territory is getting blown to bits...just the Ukraine.
If that's "winning" I'd hate to see what losing looks like.
People should judge by a assessment of reality, not by using emotional headtrips.

The prevailing winds in Eastern Europe would carry the fallout straight to Russia. Do you think that Putin will risk his own people for that outcome? Never mind. I think we all know the answer to that.

Who cares? Meanwhile, the Ukraine is a uninhabitable, bombed out wasteland, with the population scattered all over as refugees.
This needs to end. It should have never started...and if we had a strong leader, it wouldn't have. It's what you get when you elect a Champion of Weakness, Ineptitude, and Corruption like Joe Biden. The whole world suffers.
This is a horrible situation that will get nothing but worse.

No your idea of a "strong leader" is a weak spineless one. This war needs to be won, once and for all. Otherwise Russia's 80 year reign of terror will continue forever.

The residents of Hiroshima and Nagasaki evidently do not know that.

The possession of nuclear weapons is not a hunting license that allows the holder to do as he pleases. Any use of nuclear devices by Russia would be the end of Russia and no one else. The US would not even need to use nuclear weapons.

Russia can no longer win the Ukraine war. It is a question now of what they will be able to get in return for leaving. Ukraine says, "Nothing", but that remains to be seen.

I actually believe that Putin is very ill and possibly terminal.
Now that he is into this, he does not care...not the slightest.
That's what makes this such a tragic and volatile situation.
Get some good Diplomatic negotiators in there...hammer out something that will let him end this and be able to claim he did not "lose".
When he is gone in a few years...set things right.
But this is a "no win" situation like it is.
The U S and NATO were highly immoral to cheerlead the brave and noble Ukrainians to fight like this.
And if that's what they wanted, they should have armed them full force from the get-go...land, air, and sea...with the best offensive armaments. Now...the Ukraine is all but destroyed.
This is a tragedy of the highest magnitude.

US and NATO did arm Ukraine from the beginning. It takes time to get stuff moving. As for Ukraine being destroyed, how so?

I'm a Veteran, and understand Military Operations & Tactics.
Most don't...and have no Military experience.
By any reasonable standard...Russia has already won.
They have destroyed the other Country...it is blasted to rubble, and it's population has left and living as refugees.
They have done everything short of occupation and taking it over. And they continue to pound it. Countless will probably freeze to death in the coming winter months.
And he could wipe it off the map any minute he decided to.
Russia's territory is untouched.
That is what a Military win looks like...but, for some reason, the emotional, (that function on headtrips instead of facts and reality), will not accept that fact.
