WOW, the West suffered heavy defeat at the United Nations Human Rights Council, without even able to bring upon a debate on this issue.
Countries like Indonesia / Qatar / UAE with strong ties to the West defended China in this instance.
BUT, for the first time ever, South Korea (as well as Paraguay and Somalia) sided with the West on this issue! I am not sure if the dynamics on the relationships b/t China and South Korea will change....

so you're telling me the west can't even afford to pay off mexico, india and ukrain to be anti china?
that's three vote for the win right there. Who's responsible for this failure?

Ohh why were you so eager to frame UN votes as being bought and paid for, as if that is how it works? O.O

Well, at least you are admitting that those votes were bought...

Anyways, western governments are actually quite poor… because the bulk of the countries’ wealth are heavily concentrated in the private sector (belonging to the people) and the government is indebted to the private sector.
On the other hand, some governments are relatively much more wealthier than their citizens.

it's a combination of $ and guns
all i'm saying is that mexico, ukraine and india are not anti-china/siding with the west enough to cast a vote, what does that really tell you?
UKR is getting support in form of cash, and hardware from US
And India is getting all of US tech/IT/call center jobs
Yet, they cant afford to be anti China?
Pfff. It was obvious that these countries voted against or abstained because the ruling class in these countries all wish to do/are already doing the same thing as China (aka rounding up dissidents/certain minority groups and kill them). Birds of a feather flock together.
And Ukraine changed vote a day after. With the way things go soon China will lost all the goodwill that's left in Ukraine (and all non-Hungary CEE countries).

Who is Mexico rounding up? And not the people they are helping come to the welfare paradise that is the US.
LOL whether UKR really believed what is allegedly happening, it will take more than one day to definitely change their minds. They know its too late to change vote as stated in the article. They just came out with public statement after the voting to save face with their US based globalist masters.

Ukraine is still really dumb about their "alliance" with China, but many Ukrainians are waking up as the war drags on. Before the war Ukraine fit right in with the other failed trash states that abstained/voted against the motion.
