Yeah, her "inside" help is her Chinese bf/husband who could be doing the translation for her.
They also drive around in a Tesla which means they aren't reliant on public transportation, and also shows that they are decently well off.
You are contradicting yourself. If she is using speech-to-text software and it is good enough (it certainly isn't), then why would she use her husband to translate for her. If it is her husband or someone else who does the translation isn't very important, the point is that she doesn't do it and her Youtube project involves multiple people.

But she is not getting a lot of views, and her ad-revenue is low. She is clearly earning money from other sources, as she would not put so much effort into a hobby. And who is the main source of alternative income in China? The answer is obvious, tourism is controlled by the CCP so they are the ones funding her.

So China is trying to promote their tourism industry. The horror.
If she is paid by the CCP to promote their tourist industry, then she is not a credible source.

The same applies the other way, you don't ask a French tourist agent if they should go to France or Germany. They can only say France.

Are you joking, they talked for several minutes about their travel difficulties in China. Here is some of the things they said, but he kept mentioning issues even after this.

"And we are a travel channel, almost
We want to get around and do different things
And see interesting things to show you guys
But that is almost impossible at the moment
You are able to travel
But the possibility of you being locked down in another city
Or needing to do quarantine when you come back to Shenzhen.
Is quite high
And we really don’t want that to happen
The other thing is
Even if you don’t turn into any problems with lockdown
You definitely will have to get a covid test pretty much every day"

Since it's clear you need this explained to you...

1. Speech to text is not translation (can't believe this needed to be said)

2. She can choose to use whatever she feels like at the moment, or both to be thorough. That's her prerogative. We don't know what she's using.

Fact of the matter is you do not know their financial situation or motivation. All you have is speculation.

All you have is speculation.
what's funny is that she's back at the US now, FBI's and CIA's must be taking extra look at her internet communications.

we're probably going to use tax payer's money to pay her off so she stops posting video about china.

speculation is fun lol

WOW, the West suffered heavy defeat at the United Nations Human Rights Council, without even able to bring upon a debate on this issue.

Countries like Indonesia / Qatar / UAE with strong ties to the West defended China in this instance.
BUT, for the first time ever, South Korea (as well as Paraguay and Somalia) sided with the West on this issue! I am not sure if the dynamics on the relationships b/t China and South Korea will change....

Breakdown by geographical regions:
19 countries that voted AGAINST: Asia (8) / Africa (8) / South America (2) / North America (1)
17 countries that voted IN FAVOUR: Europe (10) / North America (2) / Asia (2) / South America (1) / Africa (1) / Oceania (1)
11 countries that voted ABSTAIN: Africa (4) / Asia (3) / South America (2) / North America (1) / Europe (1)

It simply shows (once again) how laughably useless the UN is as an organisation. Nothing more. What would a "debate" do anyway?

Just grab popcorns and watch Chinese people let Xi run China into the ground and laugh.

Well the West did secure majority of the votes in to get Russia kicked out of this Human Rights Council, otherwise that would have netted AGAINST an extra vote.

I think we are well aware certain countries are really good with keep their operations covert and are masterful in censorship of their citizens. it’s therefore very difficult to find overt or visual evidence of serious HR violations… (like the one we are witness in Ukraine).

If those Muslim-majority countries like Indonesia / Pakistan / Qatar / UAE don’t give a damn for those who share their religion or race, there is little the West can do about it.

I'll pop in for a moment to say this...

The notion of "Muslim brotherhood" may hold some water among the average person in those countries, but as far as those in power are concerned, it's merely a buzzword and political tool. They may be largely unified in their hatred of Israel and general dislike of the US, but that aside, they've been fighting each other for centuries and that won't change.

The US was the latest in a line of Western powers that tried to carve up the Middle East, failed, and left trenches of bodies, pallets of cash in warlords' hands, and chaos in their wake. The US doesn't have much of a leg to stand on when it comes to pontificating about human rights in the middle east - no argument there, at all. But, the US still maintained some influence in the region due to its support of various regimes; when Trump pulled the plug and looked inward, China stepped into that void, ready to throw buckets of freshly printed renminbis at them.

China knows about the diminished standing of the West and the UN in the region, and the fact that cash is king when it comes to buddying up with leaders in the Middle East. None of their leaders are going to turn away money from China when all they have to do is agree that there's nothing at all happening to a bunch of people the leaders could care less about, and instruct their media to take the line of, "well the US says it's happening, and the US is evil; the Chinese are saying it's not happening, and look at all the stuff they're giving us! Who are we to believe?"

As China's economy continues to go down, there's going to be less money for them to throw at infrastructure projects and bribery; countries whose leaders have sought to become a vassal state for China will suffer in kind. China's main staying point for influence will probably be any ability they have to export their security apparatus to authoritarian leaders who wish to suppress dissent. The BRI has crashed; Made in China 2025 is DOA; the wealthy nations China depended on for capital to fund its projects have soured on them... We'll see how many of these countries stick around to help clean up the mess after the party's over.
