Desantis with Nikki Haley as VP would be a winning ticket.
DeSantis with Haley or Kristi Noem would be a super winning ticket.
Both Haley and Noem have great track records, are strong leaders, and as women they would
bring in suburban women who tend to vote democrat.
DeSantis is like Trump but competent. That’s scary.

Trump needs to do more than "stay home". He needs to throw enthusiastic support behind a republican ticket.
He's got a base who won't vote, and will feel disenfranchised, if they believe Trump wanted to run but was denied the spot.
I'm not sure why the Right can't see this as clearly.
If Trump INSISTS on running again, the republicans have little chance. They're too split.

Trump still has massive support within the Party, while there are numerous articles in Lefty publications literally this very day talking about how Biden is losing his own base.
People who voted for Trump would gladly vote for Desantis, a brutal and bloody primary not withstanding.
