Except it doesn’t in regards to winning the election. It’s called the electoral college which Dems love to cry about and want to change when it doesn’t go their way…because muh Hillary is the most recent

The left calls Trump the extremist when they are the ones who are the extremists and authoritarians.
Pot calling the kettle black and it's a joke for anybody with an IQ over 100 that can see what's going on.

They've gone so far left over the last few years... I don't really see how the Republicans have gotten more extreme...you mean overturning roe vs Wade? Oh no, extremists! . Trump was a moderate. The only thing he did they hated was stop unchecked illegal immigration and refugee importation and for the globalists seeking to destroy western culture that is an unforgivable crime. That, and he played by their rules much if the time, and they don't like being subject to criticism.

Lets face it. Trump has fractured the republican party, chances of winning 2022 and 2024 is ZERO-im-535576.jpeg.jpg

I'm open to a moderate, sane Republican candidate myself. But I'll be danged if I know who that could be at this point.

I can’t wait til the day we are officially a socialist nation.
It’s long overdue.

The Swamp knows it. They know what they had to do to in 2020.

They only reason Trump is bad for America is sizable portion of the country comes down with a severe case of TDS... and we don't have a vaccine yet. They end up wreaking havoc everywhere.
Perhaps more people voted in total?
Didn't Biden also get more votes than Obama 2008?

We have Electors who elect the President. It's the Electorial votes that count. Hence we have the proposal to offer "alternative" electors who would vote other than the wishes of the popular vote. Because of the Electorial College, Trump won the Presidency in 2016, beating Hillary who won the popular vote.
Lincoln also lost the popular vote, but won the Electorial.
Bush 43 also lost the poular vote, but won the electorial.
On balance the Republicans have done better in the Elector system vs undefined direct democratic vote.

Well, that's probably true if you are a bitter Trumper or your political preferences are somewhere to the right of Genghis Kahn or Louis XVI. I imagine all alternatives would look far left. Jesus must look like a Bolshevik. The moderate Republicans will eventually take back the party, but it could take years. Trump, MAGA and Trumpism are heading to the dustbin but would like to inflict as much damage on the country as they go.

Shouldn’t be long. Entitlement and free stuff has no bounds. Interesting how folks from socialist countries can’t wait to get out but the folks that cry about the US are in no hurry to move to one.

If Trump gets the nomination and is against Biden there's still a good chance he could win, even while fighting federal charges. But more people are wising up to the fact he is a despotic wannabe dictator who throws everyone who supports him under the bus. Including nearly 900 who are in, or going to prison for him. I think most of his supporters are just there to see what kind of crazy he pulls out of his hat next.

Here's a scenario for you. Trump gets indicted, delays trial until after he is nominated, wins the Primary, then loses in court. Remains out on appeal, WINS the election over the democrats. His hand picked Supreme Court throws out the conviction.

Because of clear corruption in the republican controlled courts, Biden refuses to relinquish the Presidency, and the military backs him up.

Civil War 2 begins...
Good plot. Write a book. You could get rich.

If Biden was truly more popular than Trump, the swamp wouldn't give a rat's behind about Trump. But this isn't true. It's never been true.

Again - the swamp knows what they had to do to get Biden into office. They understand Trump's popularity. He snuck in once... they will burn the country down before it happens again - this is not hyperbole... see the Floyd riots.

The current leadership in the democratic party has vastly changed my political leanings and I will not be making the same mistake of voting left in the upcoming midterms or presidential election.
