As a former government employee, if I, or anyone reading this, kept classified documents on an unsecured server, we'd be at the minimum indicted. Most likely pressured to that a plea deal and spend some time in prison. That is unless a former NY state senator reads these forums.
What would have happened if you had been found with dozens of batches of assorted classified documents and 48 empty classified document folders at your house?
Trump could have gave pardons to these people why didn't he?
Probably because Trump, in his delusions, thought he would be retaining the White House post-January 6th so there would be no need for pardons. When his fascist coup failed, though, he did what he always does and always will do: look out for Trump and do everything possible to dissociate himself from said failure in order to weasel out of any culpability.
Won't work though, since he was caught red handed with extremely sensitive government documents.
How many of those "peaceful protesters" from the Summer of Love that hurled obscenities(and physical objects) at law enforcement officers were arrested, let alone got charged with a Felony and have to serve 9 months in a Federal Prison?

If only the legal system were equally hard on the leftist rioters who looted, burned, and assaulted police, I might believe that the sentence handed out to the rowdy crowd on Jan 6 was fair. But there is no correlation whatsoever in punishment. For the most part, the leftist rioters got nothing. A few got a slap on the wrist. The Jan 6 rowdies are getting the book thrown at them for wearing buffalo horns and acting like drunk college kids.
