Under oath he is not going to say something that can be proven as a lie. On MSNBC he can say whatever he wants. Like I said do you know what he told the feds under oath? And this type of having two sets of "facts" is exactly what Trump does all the time. Trump and his peeps do press conferences on massive voter fraud yet in court filings they say very different things. Did Trump learn this from Cohen or visa versa?
And it does say something about how he operates when he rips off corporations claiming that he had access and knew things that he did not. It also shows he might not be as connected to the inner world of Trump as he claims. He does have a history of exaggerating that.
Off topic ...
We all should laugh at Trump claiming all he had to do was "think" or even "tell someone" he was declassifying documents. Anyone that doesn't think that's ridiculous, they can be dismissed. I sure as hell wouldn't accept those reasons from Biden or Kamala.
Now, the judge in the Mar-a-Lago classified docs case has told "him" to produce - by Monday - a list of documents/items he's been claiming the Feds wrongly took from MaL. We'll see if anything of value gets produced.
What about that free rent President Trump gave to Jesse Jackson aka Rainbow Coalition for office space in Manhattan back in 1999 or so? There's got to be some wrongdoing going on there that the desperate democrap libs can get President Trump on.

Trump had/has the right to declassify documents:
Trump is protected under an executive order that was signed by Barack Obama in 2009 establishing a uniform system for "classifying, safeguarding and declassifying national security information."
The order allows the president to determine the system of designating classified information, and he is the ultimate authority over U.S. intelligence agencies, which gather and classify the information.
The Supreme Court confirmed as much in its 1988 ruling in Department of Navy v. Egan.
Old article but still applies to a sitting president:

"Trump had/has the right to declassify documents:"
True, Trump HAD the right .... but not by just thinking about it.
"establishing a uniform system for "classifying, safeguarding and declassifying national security information.""
Also true
He did everything except follow "a uniform system". The whole concept of a "system", following rules or telling the truth is foreign to Trump. He just don't get it.
He is about to learn he cannot lie in court. Its against the law and he lives by lying. He has lied so much, I do not think he knows what the truth is any more. The courtroom does not bode well for him.

And what exactly are the rules? How do you know those documents were not declassified? Were you there?

Were you there? Did you hear Trump's thoughts when he automagically declassified them? Because if nobody on earth knows about it, it did not happen. Duh!
BTW, the rules for classifying and changing classifications have been established for decades. Maybe you never worked for the federal government.

The 11th Circuit said that no matter if the documents were classified or declassified, Trump had no possessory right to them. He is no longer president and his right to those documents ended on January 20, 2021.
That being said, Dearie is still waiting to Trump to provide evidence that he declassified anything.
