And just a reminder of what Trump said in 2016. “The mob takes the Fifth. if you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?”

Trump is hooped.
NOW you've got him x ELEVENTY!!

After watching you lefties stricken with TDS, I now know what it is like for the nurses who work the psych ward.

I don't understand the damage that was done if he did?

Overestimating the value of a property brings higher taxes.

If he used this over inflation to secure loans then what is wrong with the bank that wouldn't send out its own appraiser to put a number on the property? What bank is just going to take a customers word? If that is the case how is this a Crime that Trump is responsible for?

If Trump is talking about the 5th amendment that is a standard response of his to so many witch hunts that he has had to endure.

Do we really care if Trump overestimated the value of his properties?
The allegations are fraud against his lenders. If you overinflate the value of your collateral you can qualify for larger loans and/or smaller interest rates on those loans.

Cash-poor Trump may have to dump his skyscrapers at 'fire sale' prices if he loses NY fraud lawsuit: biographer

Appearing on MSNBC on Sunday afternoon, Donald Trump biographer and senior executive editor of Bloomberg Opinion, Tim O'Brien, claimed that, should the former president go head-to-head with New York Attorney General Letitia O'Brien and lose the $250 million lawsuit she has filed against him, he will likely have to liquidate his properties --and at fire sale prices.

Speaking with MSNBC host Alex Witt, O'Brien suggested that Trump's worth is wrapped up in his real estate portfolio and he doesn't have access to enough cash to pay penalties and fines if he loses his court battle.

That celebrating quickly wore off for many as the debacles continue to pile up and approval ratings plummeted.

Quite the claims, and if ifs at all mattered he’d have already been locked up years ago. Tissue will simply be another hopeful that will fail to get him. Always interesting to find out who’s going to get him next.
