Really? I'm fine with her and most all of my friends and family are too. It's not like a hard core Democrat like yourself knows how modern Republicans think. "Tulsi, welcome to the Republican party "
Don’t even think of letting this this two-faced opportunist into the Republican Party . . . she will be worse than Mitt Romney, the ultimate RINO
She took an oath to support and defend our Constitution, and her policy positions would trash the very constitution she took an oath to support and defend.
What I can’t understand is why so many republicans are fawning over this socialist, conniving con artist.
Tulsi sees the democrat party imploding and is trying to jump ship and save her own political rear-end by appealing to emotions, i.e., she attacks the democrat party so she must be good.
What I can’t understand is why so many republicans are fawning over this socialist, conniving con artist.
The smart Republicans are just laughing at her sticking her fingers in the eyeballs of the Dems because lord knows the Dems deserve it.
The Republicans that are "wElcOMe to ThE reBuBLiCan PaRTy tuLSi!" are low information voters or simply want click bait ... there are a lot of them in both parties.
point of order...at no point did Tulsi say she was switching to the GOP. She just said she no longer wants to affiliate with dip****. or words to that effect.
Completely agree. I wonder how old some of the people on here posting are because I am the same age as Tulsi, and the Democratic Party decades ago (as well as the Republican Party) were nothing like they are now. They were both much more centric. I can definitely see how she could want to switch. Although I’m independent, when I was younger I was a democrat, and slowly as I’ve aged I’ve become more and more conservative on issues. Though I’m not conservative on all issues, hence I’m independent.
But bottom line is that I don’t know why people think that she can’t her stance from the Democratic Party of 2022, which does not resemble the Democratic Party she grew up in.
She was first elected in 2013, after the ACA. The party hasn’t changed much but she has, more outspoken on race, Russia. Leaving the party isn’t actually a shock.
