Again.

And yet, it was a Trump appointed judge who decided this case was moving forward and decided on Bannon's fine and sentence. What he did was, in fact, a crime, even if Bannon supporters don't think it should be.

Holder didn't serve 1 minute in jail for contempt of congress and he had real power not a private citizen like Steve Bannon.

Steve Bannon sentenced to 4 months in jail for contempt of Congress

by Kevin Breuninger, Reuters

Former top Trump White House advisor Steve Bannon was sentenced Friday to four months in jail for defying a subpoena from the congressional probe of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot. A U.S. District judge also fined Bannon $6,500. But he ruled that Bannon will not have to serve the sentence until an expected appeal plays out.

Democrats wanted the court to sentence Bannon to six months in jail — the top end of the federal sentencing guidelines range — and the maximum fine of $200,000.

A right-wing media figure and onetime close ally of former President Donald Trump, Bannon “consistently acted in bad faith†as he tried to impede the House select committee’s investigation, Democrats argued.

All it means is that a key Democrat will have to be found in Contempt of Congress when Republicans takeover.

His only "crime" was supporting Trump.

I'm voting by absentee ballot, as I usually do. Just need to get my ballot witnessed/notarized and dropped in the mail. Done and early.

Yeah, We said the same thing about Eric Holder. Funny how the "law" is applied.

Uh huh, that's a nice story to tell yourself. May want to learn more about things like the law he broke and what the Trump-appointed judge had to say.

A contempt citation is not punishment but an urging to do something required of a person. Maybe Holder later complied.

Let's leave 'whataboutism' alone.

I ask myself that every time I hear about some leftist district attorney dropping charges for a violent criminal in the name of "social justice".
