It’s a modern miracle that the GOP is even leading in the House right now.

This is the end of the GOP, if they can’t win this one, they can’t win anything. Inflation, recession, crime waves, lockdowns, etc. this should’ve been a red wave. The crime a lone should’ve let to a red wave, but I guess most Americans don’t give a damn about inner city war zones if it means they can’t get an abortion.
What's even worse, is they truly believe that Ron Desantis aka baby Trump, will be the answer to their woes, because he's Florida popular. When politically FL is nothing like the other states. Desantis can't save this party, and he would get blasted in Michigan, Wisc, and PA each by Biden, and probably Georgia as well. The American electorate is not looking for another populist blow hard that just wants to dominate the other party. They're looking for a leader, and actual good decision maker with some darn compassion for godssake.

Ive said it time and time again. Republicans need to quit appealing to the MINORITY. There's only so many wealthy elites to vote you idiots. Get out and get the poor/Middle class votes. Appeal to the wider audience. Not Trust fund babies. Most of the boomer base is dying off as well. DO something for the common man today. If not, you'll never see a shred of power again

DeSantis would definitely fare better in states like Georgia and Arizona than Trump. It’s just a question of could he outperform Trump in PA MI WI?

Guess there is a silver lining to the GOP being cheated out of the senate. Hopefully McConnell leaves the senate 1 way or the other by 2024. He is a pathetic WEAK politician.

Problem is he couldn't win the presidency even with GA + Arizona combined. He'd have to pick off one of PA, MI, WI assuming the standard non-swing states remain their respective red/blue. Unless something goes tremendously downhill the next 2 years, I'm all but certain that Biden would hold that blue wall in the North vs Desantis. PA and MI, at least are getting bluer, Florida is getting more red, and national GOP is drinking that kool-aid.

There are 255,000 uncounted early ballots in Maricopa County. Why are Republicans anticipating that these will break their way? Because 68% of these are in Republican leaning Legislative Districts and they were dropped off on election day rather than mailed which Trump won in '20

In reality the votes came from all over the county but had a rather strong GOP lean to the areas north of the 101 and in the far southeast - red country. (the map is on Garrett Archer's twitter). The Pima vote completely wiped out Maricopa today and Hobbs had a bigger lead at the end of the day than she did at the start. Maricopa is just not going to Lake the way she needs.

Trumps big push back in 2016 was to connect to the working class voters. He succeeded. The democrats appeal to the liberal elite and poor voters on public assistance.

What dem ever running for president wasn't a blow hard? Except Carter? Dems are seriously trying to transform America into socialism since Obama day 1. R's keep getting in their way.

DeSantis is not a baby Trump. He doesn't have an ego like Trump, or attack anything that doesn't like him. Very different from Trump.

Some don't consider turning America into socialism "compassion". That's what Chavez did in Venezuela. He was the hero of the poor. Destroying the economy in the process. Now, Venezuela is in ruins.

Oh really? Majority of voters don't agree with you.
