I've always thought beauty contests were silly, so this doesn't affect me at all. In fact, incidents like this will eventually render things like beauty contests obsolete. Good riddance. The same applies to transgender folks participating in women's sports. Eventually, they'll be no point in separating sports by gender and said separation will go away. The feminists should love it since women are better at everything than men anyway.
If they do what they do in a manner that doesn’t effect anyone I could care less.
We have a couple in the towns I reside in.
One is even a muscular person near 7 feet tall and he doesn’t bother anyone.
Insisting that I indoctrinate myself to say and repeat the lies that they are fabricating (with forms of punishment if I don’t) seems like a communistic society.
This is also an act of bullying.
Why is this so important to them that this is a battle hill they don’t want to give up?
They are promoting this and giving woman of the year to a person that just now decided to wear a skirt?
Beauty pageants and other prize situations where the “it” wins?
Children encouraged to alter their bodies.
I imagine lots of these people just want to be special and treated special.
I will go as far to say they choose this route because it’s easier than the hard work involved to get into the special status category of people.

Mmmmm, rather reminds me of the nuclear engineering officer recruiting program at TAMU with lines like, "You don't have to suffer for 4 years or run around with your arms above your head, screaming silly things"....something like that.
