Chicks are doing this now? This country has gone insane. At what point is mental health going to be a priority?
We don't have a mechanism for any mental health program on a nationwide level.
If we had National Health Care in some form it could be done, but that is not going to happen in today's political climate.
So 'mental health' is a great excuse for this disgraceful situation, but the people who are against gun control in any form are also the same people who will never support national mental healthcare in any form.

People did not blame the Ford Escape in the Waukesha Christmas Parade. Why should an inanimate object be blamed, in this case?
I agree that we are not doing enough for the mentally ill. We closed the hospitals without coming up with an alternative plan. And, that is Democrat and Republican. Neither side can claim victory, on this front.
Did he know them? At least the adults. Old teachers?

I sadly get him/her attacking the school but yes 15 years later . But yes how could there be anyone left that may have played a role in her life even if a negative one. And why not confront them individually. This seems like this was a symbolic target as much as anything.
So when someone takes on a new pronoun/identity their old social security stays with them? Background check based on ss and birth date and/or her full current name? Was the background check for firearm purchase on a man or woman?
Well, that's our world, where one side or the other locks in on the point that reaffirms their agenda, other data or the search for it be damned, and takes it to the moon and back.
Perhaps it is the same across the board. That is, just as so many after the fact are of the "SEE! They were that kind!" so maybe are the offenders, hearing only that which supports their line of thinking. The soundbite society.
