In 2017-18, the GOP controlled the White House and both houses of Congress. In 2019-20, they held the White House and Senate. But they increased spending each year, raised the debt limit twice and suspended it three times.

Well they did have to go back to 2017. Guess they don't want to talk about the current administration because all they know is spend, spend and spend some more.

I admit that Dems like to spend, but at least they’re honest about it.

They didn’t even try. The only thing they accomplished was tax cuts for the rich which accounts for over 30% of the current deficit. When they were in power they had no interest in cuts. They like cuts only when the president is from the other side.
