We didn't choose genetic qualities or try to create a certain type of human. Just chose an egg donor who looked like me, because I wasn't the biological father.

but obviously he (donor) was screened for diseases and any other "mal" traits. btw, not saying its right or wrong but just something to think about.
It wouldn't matter. Plenty of people would still be (and are) straight anyway. The only difference is that the gay couples wouldn't be having children that way. Also, straight couples who have problems conceiving would have to go without. Nevertheless, plenty of people would be getting pregnant. No need to push heterosexuality onto people, as the OP suggests.
