I did Skoal for 26 years. I am not unsympathetic towards smokers. The difference is that most people didn't know when I had a dip in. Many I worked with didn't even know that I dipped. I wasn't one to have a massive pinch in and I didn't spit.

Cars don't stink, aren't toxic but DO fulfill a vital role in our society. Tobacco stinks, causes cancer and other illness, but makes no positive contribution. In other words, your comparison is worthless.
Aren't toxic? Put your lips on an exhaust pipe and see the dosage of carbon monoxide you'll get. Your vehicle fulfills a role for YOUR personal convenience, not mine! What a weak response
Personally I feel that a business should have the right to decide. Smoke free or smoking allowed. I grew up with chain smokers and hate the stench, but I also believe they have the right to choose.
So it is ok for drug addicts to force their "will", i.e. tobacco effluent, on innocent bystanders, i.e.non-smokers, but, in your dementia, it is NOT ok for the innocent, non-offending majority to solicit their elected reps, to protect their RIGHTS to NOT be assaulted by tobacco addicts spewing their toxic, poisonous, malodorous effluent into the air others are breathing. OMG.
It's okay for you to spew yours here so why not? Fair is fair after all!
Yep! Been to Las Vegas lately? I was and could've easily gotten a contact high just walking down the strip...
I just returned from Las Vegas a week ago. Nowhere did I smell smoke from people smoking marijuana. This is just a lame attempt to deflect from second hand smoke from tobacco, which by the way, was everywhere there.

Smoking is also a disgusting habit, so is vaping.
Why is that? A vapor that disappears in seconds is nothing like smoke. Now I will agree those who look like steam trains chugging up a steep hill do look ridiculous but that vapor doesn't affect anyone but the user...

Except Pot was just made legal and many are taking full advantage smoking it everywhere they go. I wonder when the casino's will start handing out free pot edibles or joints like they do booze in order to cater to and draw away gamblers...
