Cool! Thanks for that link, Kele. I'll look forward to reading it closely.

Nope, sorry.

The "environmental" hypothesis is so yesterday. (in other words, inaccurate)

Because of the human genome project, we're finding out more and more about how genetics affect human biology--read the Stanford article and weep.

Aside to AUM--it's a good article my friend.

So a person who was born left handed is not normal? Only the normal people use their right hand? Just like the normal people are born straigh and been born gay is not normal? See where I am getting.

The same can be said about many homosexuals.

Biological basis of sexual orientation

There are a great number of scientific articles which elaborate on and explore the hypothesis of biological basis for homosexuality. Unfortunately, most of them are located on scholarly databases such as Jstor, and unless you have access to these databases, you cannot get to the articles. I have access through the University and in searching the library database, I found 25 articles regarding homosexuality and biology from the Library of Congress alone.

Apparently, you're one of the last people walking still holding on to the notion that homosexuality is a choice. Who in their right minds would choose the stigmatization and/or denigration that comes along with that particular "life choice"?
Thanks for getting this great research info out there. Now if some capable minds can only read and try to understand. Oh well.

Yes it can. The definition of "normal" sometimes depends on the individual, and even then, the individual may have several definitions of what it considered "normal".

Yeah, that's always the tricky part, isn't it?

As a reference librarian, I can tell you that some people don't want to hear the truth... just today I tried to present my favorite neo-Nazi patron with some factual literature, and he wouldn't even let me finish my sentence. Oh well, at least we are trying!
