Really? I've never canoed it, however I've camped when I was younger in Bond Falls. Now I just camp around here, although I've gone to Washington Island quite a bit, I miss it.

Yeah. I think it went off-topic when your relationship status became somehow relevant to your feelings on affirmative action.

Yes, and it can be a bit "hairy" depending on how high the river is. There are some class 4 rapids on there (if you choose to do those sections). We used to stay at the DNR camp ground, but we were a bit much for them (there's usually at least 20 of us and we like our campfire celebrations, you see), so we stay in town at the campground they have there. Which is nice, because the Kro Bar (old school small town bar with good pub grub and live bands in the summer) is just a couple of blocks away.

Haha, yep I like to have my fun too while camping. For some reason, the park rangers don't see it the way I do

Yeah, talk about a topic shift! I'm still not sure how voting for Obama affects a woman's relationship status, but whatever. I live in San Francisco, so it's more likely that voting MCCAIN would have forced me into eternal bachelorette-hood.
