I don't believe gays should adopt, but I do feel that gays who have natural children should be considered for custody of them as long as they aren't living
with their lovers
As long as openly gay people cannot "promote" their lifestyle, can we ban all teachers[heterosexual and homosexual] from displaying pictures of their spouses? We wouldn't want to give kids the impression their teacher's lifestyle is for them.

I plan on being a teacher and I won't actively go out of my way to tell my students I'm a lesbian, if they ask...I'll tell. Just because I'm open with them won't make them decide to go out and find a same-sex lover.

As for gays adopting....I guess you assume if one has gay parents, they are more likely to be gay? My parents are heterosexual, unfortunately, and I hardly ever heard about gay people as I was growing up but here I am: a big lesbian!

Civil unions for all.
I voted no.

I would also try to equalize more benefits, rights, privileges, etc between married and unmarried people.

What if it's a gay teacher in CT or MA and his or her husband or wife stops by and the kids ask about him or her? Should the teacher be required to say, "Oh, that's just a friend of mine"?

actually in MA and CT gay marriage is legal, so technically they should be up front with those kids, but gay marriage shouldn't be legal in the first place.

Because then that's lying to the kids, and sending a message that being gay is something to be ashamed of.

What about the teenagers who think they might be gay? Usually, if someone thinks he's gay or bi, he just is. Do you think they should learn that being gay is something to be ashamed of?

It should be legal. You are wrong. Once again.

I believe in Separation from Church and State for obvious reasons..

Gay? Straight? Lesbian? Who cares?
