Why not say Somalis? Putting "filthy" before a group of people is pretty bigoted.
we need to protect the dignity of pirates???? the other day on of these pirate threads OP was demanding that they not be called pirates they were just poor somali farmers looking for a better life.
Incredible. Most of the people who post here seem to be in support of the pirates. I'd bet they're not the cuddly Carribean pirates of movie fame.

I'm pretty sure "filthy" is an acceptable term for a pirate and I'm sure it wouldn't hurt their feelings. They have bigger issues to deal with.
How is calling a guy a bigot because he called an entire country of people filthy the same thing as being in support of the pirates?
Because he said filthy Somali Pirates.. he was talking about a small ground of Somali's who were pirates... I think he has the right to call them filthy.

Calling some ONE a name is very different from calling a whole group a name and blaming the whole group by saying "Filthy SomaliS". Do you want people saying filthy Americans because of the actions some white Americans who raped a woman during a gang rape? You give me a break.

That got a laugh out of me. I'm the least politically correct person I know. I've had several posts removed by the moderators on this site because people complained I was be being too insensitive.
