I'm hoping when Obama fails miserably (and he will) the media will finally vet him and prove he is the fraud he is. Obama is a fraud and usurper holding the most powerful position on Earth. He must be removed. He will destroy America. Sadly, the loony left-wing dumbocrats have no clue what is happening right before their eyes.

Even Occidental College states that Newsweek reported that Barry entered their college as BARRY SOETORO under his Indonesian passport and NOT as Barack Obama.

It was at Occidental where he stopped being called “Barry” and became Barack Obama, Newsweek pointed out in its account of Obama’s formative years that featured his black-and-white freshman photo on the cover. “It was when I made a conscious decision: I want to grow up,” he told the magazine.
One of Barry Soetoro's college buddies says this of our Indonesian student:

It is clear that the students at Occidental did not know Barry Soetoro by the name of OBAMA. Instead he was using his Indonesian name and passport. This story cleverly hides the fact that the confusion came not from the first name Barry or Barack, but because of the LAST NAME Soetoro vs. Obama.
Okay so why did Barry suddenly change his name from Barry Soetoro to Barack Obama a year after he entered school? (I don't believe that REGINA story above.) It was simple. His mother and adopted dad got divorced in August of 1980. So naturally, when he entered Occidental in 1979 he used his Indonesian name...then immediately after his mom's divorce he desired to revert back to his birth name of Barack Obama.
I don't see what difference it makes that he went by another name, unless he was committiing identity theft or committed crimes under another name, and there is no evidence of either of those. He was elected and is now President What's His Name.

NOWHERE does it state that he attended school under the name of Soetoro. It states that he went by a diminutive of his name, Barry for Barack. It's possible that William Clinton went by Bill during his college days, too. I wonder if George Bush had any nicknames. I've heard interviews where Ronald Reagan was referred to as Ronny. And Gerald Ford was called Jerry. James Carter went by Jimmy. And now we know that Barack Obama went by Barry.

It clearly shows...nothing, except that as a youngster and a young man that people shortened his name to a familiar diminutive.
Your second link, also shows he used Barry. It says nothing about the name "Soetoro".
Third link, more of the same. Fourth link, more of the same. All of your links do NOT say anything about Barack Obama using the last name of Soetoro. If Ronald Reagan can go by Ron or Ronny, I would think Barack Obama could have friends call him Barry.
Well, shucks. Since my brother went by a shortened form of his middle name for the first 20 years of his life, I guess this all means he's not eligible to be President. Sorry bro.

Hmmm, when people said things like this about Bush, they were called traitors by the right-wing nuts. Does this mean you are now a traitor?
What sort of amazes me is that some of the folks on here who are so upset that he used his shortened name at Occidental are the same folks who on other threads have claimed that there is no proof that he attended Occidental. Strange.
(Note to at least one of those guys--this is not a personal attack. It is a statement of fact. I will continue to argue but will not call any of you names or issue personal attacks.)
The lawyer for the college, Stuart W. Rudnick of Musick, Peeler & Garrett, urgently contacted Fredric D. Woocher of Strumwasser & Woocher.
"This firm is counsel to Occidental College. The College is in receipt of the enclosed subpoena that seeks certain information concerning President-Elect Barack Obama," he wrote via fax. "Inasmuch as the subpoena appears to be valid on its face, the College will have no alternative but to comply with the subpoena absent a court order instructing otherwise."
Within hours, Woocher contacted Kreep regarding the issue, telling him, "It will likely not surprise you to hear that President-elect Obama opposes the production of the requested records.
